  1. Jim Bob Cooter has coached up a strong-armed QB before, that's who I would like.

  3. This is just another rationalization akin to saying "the room is empty, so you won't have to deal with furniture."
  4. So these places have 1 partial drawback as opposed to the plethora of drawbacks in Buffalo? Sure, that makes sense.
  5. I'm sorry, but people rationalizing that Buffalo is a great place to play are deluding themselves. Between the weather, high income tax and lack of things to do unless you're an outdoorsy type, it's simply not. Players who like big-city life are WAY more likely to look to NYC and LA; those who want a party atmosphere around them are likely to look at LA, Vegas or Miami. Are people really saying that Buffalo is mere HOURS away by car to a large city in another country and that makes up for something?
  6. Wait, THIS is Barnwell? I'm not longer devastated by his opinions.
  7. We take a DE and leave Dalton Risner, Yodny Cajuste and Jawaan Taylor on the board? I very much doubt this.
  8. I'm down for this, where do I sign up for the whole scenario?
  9. Dalton Risner - he's mean and we need mean on both lines.
  10. Lorax admits to wanting Kyle to come back to the team as a coach to "coach him up" and Kyle says they are "determining his value." I'd love to have this guy back in the building. Lorenzo signed a one-year deal, so I am hoping it happens for this next season.
  11. Thank you so much for this. Great stuff!
  12. Give Allen a season behind a decent line before making this comment.
  13. It's a pretty good draft for TEs and he's coming off a core injury, I'd pass. His stats are underwhelming. 350 yds and 3-4 tds per season for 4M?
  14. So you are proposing we carry 8-9 OL? That's what you're proposing?
  15. If we manager to sign Paradis (30), Glowinski (26) and James/Williams (27) we would be spending WAY too much on the OL.
  16. If we don't draft OL with one of our first two picks I wouldn't be happy at all
  17. Why anyone would poo poo this idea is crazy to me. The CBA doesn't allow players to work with the team in the offseason, this kid is taking initiative to get training on his own and the coach is saying he's going to get the trainer info on team concepts so that Josh can actually get work done specific to the team that he would otherwise not be allowed to work on. I absolutely love it. If we had hired Palmer as a QB coach he wouldn't be allowed to work with Josh. Instead, Palmer has been given terminology specific to the team and a detailed look at what Josh was working on last year and what they'd like him to continue improving on.
  18. We need a ton on offense, but I wouldn't say we have needs EVERYWHERE. We need: 3-4 OL - We legitimately need 3 starters 2 WR - Forget WR1, follow the Rams model of multiple 2s with consistent hands 1 RB - Shady is done SLB - Lorax is old and we need a young replacement CB DT DE - Hughes is our only real pass rusher
  19. That moment when in one post on a football message board you expose that you neither watch football nor pay attention in the offseason.? From Webster's definition of "coach": I know what you're going to say, instructors and teachers are completely different
  20. This guy is an iceberg and the garbage he's being charged with is just the stuff that has happened in public and on tape that everyone can see. Willing to bet he's a POS in plenty of other situations and whoever signs him will find out soon enough. .
  21. Sorry, but the obesity portion of this article is a case of people who were once disciplined becoming undisciplined. They insinuate that eating habits meant to keep people bigger is the NFL's fault for wanting larger players. There is no mention of the fact that people who work out for hours a day and eat a certain amount cannot stop working out and keep eating that same amount and not expect to be in terrible physical shape.
