I understand what you mean about Lee Smith, but Knox & Sweeney are only rookies and I believe they are only going to get better. I don't see Tight End being that much of a need in the future.

I loved this Sunday night crew, a lot of people couldn't stand Theismann, I thought he was good. Theismann was one of the few commentators who had the guts to call out the officials if they had made a bad call. Mike Patrick was a great play-by-play announcer. I think that he had been beat out by John Brown & Cole Beasley as a starter during training camp, which was why he wasn't getting many 1st reps. Don't know if he was in the dog house.

B- He makes some very odd play calls that makes it look like the Bills are being too clever for their own good. I do not like Josh Allen running designed running plays up the middle. The QB sweeps are fine. Daboll's overall work with Allen has been very good. When the game is on the line, the offense has not been stopped. It would be great to see this for an entire game, but this group has taken big steps forward. The running game has been very good too. It would be nice to have a more balanced attack going forward. Overall, I like what I have seen, we are 5-1, and Daboll does make adjustments. Consistency for an entire game is all that is missing. Edited post---- Our Red Zone efficiency has been outstanding. That is a huge plus.

Definitely. I don't understand the hate for Lofton, he's one of the better commentators on broadcasts. I would rather listen to him than most of the other commentators out there.

I take nothing for granted. The Eagles were embarrassed tonight, and will be very desperate to get a win. The Bills cannot take this game lightly, which I doubt they will. The defense needs to come back with a strong performance, and we need more consistency from the offense. Enough with the cute plays Daboll, play the offense to it's strengths.

I too did not like the play calling from Daboll in the first half. Stop trying to be so clever and use our strengths. Why was Singletary used so sparingly? I don't like the designed QB running plays either. Particularly the draw plays up the middle. I'm fine with the QB sweep, because Allen has blockers in front of him. I re-watched the play of Jordan Phillips' sack and he did not get up to celebrate. Looked like he was trying to find the ball and was unaware that Fitzy had recovered it.
