  1. 1. Orakpo -- so strong and fast -- if he can get a hand on the ball carrier, he has a tackle -- he has a great build that should help him stay healthy 2. Brown -- gets to the passer better than anyone else in this draft -- he is OK at checking for the draw play -- he doesn't finish plays nearly as well as Orakpo or Ayers 3. Ayers -- Loves the contact -- puts everything into every play -- better all-around than just a pass rusher -- biggest mystery in the 1st round 4. Move on to TE of LT
  2. UnBilleviable. Maybe she'll come to a game.
  3. The perfect example of why not to make such a move. That bust cost us more than the Mike Williams bust simply because it started off by setting us back two years and in the end set us back a lot longer than that. And I know many think the jury is still out of McCargo, but it is hurting the team still.
  4. The real reason this IS possible is because all the decision makers in the Bills' war room Saturday are feeling desperate, in my very uninformed opinion -- even Ralph, who clearly realizes he isn't getting any younger.
  5. No dealings with the Pats*.
  6. I'd up that to the first four picks. I would be very happy with that draft.
  7. There is no way Aaron Curry falls all the way to the number 10 spot. He will go in the top-5, actually.
  8. Also in there... AND
  9. I have more confidence in Walker taking over the LT spot than I have in Kelsay remaining a starter. Plus, the offensive tackle position is much deeper in this draft than is the defensive end position. Thus, it seem very logical for the Bills to address the DL before they do so for the OL. Of course, logic is not always seen in these parts.
  10. What the hell is the difference between the build of an angry lumberjack and a happy one?
  11. That is probably going to be filmed very soon. This type of exposure is a huge positive for the Bills and all of us who want the franchise to do well and be viable in Buffalo.
  12. I would need a new TV if the Bills picked a corner at #28, especially with Maybin is still on the board.
  13. I think Parrish and a 6th could get it done. I really don't want to part with Roscoe, but I think that is the price the Jags would be most interested in. And I think adding Henderson instantly makes our D dangerous.
  14. Campbell is a dud. It seems everyone in the Skins' organization knows it. To be fair to Snyder, who has always been a fan first and the owner second, he does actually listen to his football people. When his personnel guy and his coach say they want someone, he will get that person, no matter the price -- money or draft pick-wise.
  15. Jim Miller hit the nail square on the head!
  16. Waters would in ALL likelihood bring much more to the table this upcoming season than any rookie (picked this Sunday) will. I think if he can be had for a 3rd, the Bills NEED to pull the trigger.
  17. The difference between trading up to the #8 spots versus the #11 spot is a mid- to late-third-round pick, which I hope could be enough to keep teams settled until after the top-10 have been picked.
  18. Agreed, that would make for another long year of not being able to stop third and longs.
  19. I agree, Rich, address the pass rush now. Just more reason the Bills need to pay Peters. Of course, don't do so before the draft so they can keep other teams guessing.
  20. Further, I wouldn't say drafting Oher at #11 is a reach since Mike Mayock has him going at #9 to the Packers.
  21. Oher has one hell of story... The Ballad of Big Mike More on Big Mike (doh!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Oher I don't think he'll be a bust. That said, I voted for Maybin.
  22. In this setup, does Philly's "GM" have that ability?
  23. It is too early to point any fingers, but if the Bills don't give Freddy a fair, long-term contract before training camp opens, they are straight-up stupid.
  24. Happy birthday, buddy. You're always a pleasure to read.
