  1. This have been a pretty damn good fourth-quarter.
  2. Without a doubt.
  3. I am very happy for him. But I think the real importance to the team here is that Lynch will now have the opportunity to meet and hopefully attempt to recruit stars who may be going into free agency, etc. I think this is a vastly under-reported byproduct of the trip to Hawaii. And I think Marshawn is the perfect person to be doing that for the Bills right now. He is passionate, young and will certainly impress others all week long.
  4. Will Caldwell still be available by the time our second pick comes up? I think center is our top need. I think we very much need to pick this kid, but I don't want to reach early and I don't want to give up all that is would take to trade back into the first.
  5. I would say this increases the already high odds that Ray Lewis is in Jests green come August.
  6. Well damn, someone should have written that script this year.
  7. Last time I checked, just about everyone hates our d-line, which leaves me wondering why any one would care if the d-line coach takes off.
  8. I think it is now more important for the Bolts to keep Sproles than it is to keep LT. I would shop LT.
  9. I think he is going to be able to demand starting running back money, which is fine with me.
  10. I'll go one better. If Cower is hired by the Bills, season tickets sellout. Suddenly, we would be Super Bowl contenders in everyone's eyes.
  11. Cowher was on board when the Steelers picked Rottenburger. Bellycheat was on board when the Pats* picked Brady.
  12. Not going to happen. Martz fired Bobby April, which was completely stupid, obviously. And then Martz was passed over by the Bills when they hired Jauron.
  13. If Mr. Wilson wants to be enshrined in Canton, he needs to at least make a serious play for Cower, in my opinion.
  14. I don't think Cower will be a coach in '09. But this pretty much sinks Tannenbaum's ship in NJ.
  15. Correct. The coaches did not decide on a play until after the 15-second mark on the play clock was reached, which is when the NFL cuts off the helmet radio.
  16. The results thus far show pretty clearly what we fans think. I predict Jauron is let go tomorrow.
  17. I think the Bills should fire Jauron just so I don't have to read anymore of these insanely tired dick jokes.
  18. I hope Marshawn listens to Thurman and takes it to heart. Thurman was a GREAT competitor and leader. He obviously still cares about the Bills and is trying to help right this sinking ship before it is too late. Instead of throwing barbs are Thurman, we should be thanking him and urging today's players to listen to those stars of the past.
  19. Have Tuna be our VP and the Chin our GM/HC. That sounds like a good, plausible plan to me.
  20. I know for a fact we had plenty of people complaining when Mularkey was hired before the Pats'* coordinators were available to be interviewed. It is just another classic example of how fans can never be happy.
  21. I will be blasted for saying this, but I trust our fellow fans here are intelligent enough to read all four choices before voting.
  22. This is everyone's chance to go on the record. I went for someone outside the organization.
  23. I think it is clear that Jauron needs to clear out his desk this week. So what do we need in his replacement? The number one thing we need, in my humble opinion, is a coach who has confidence in himself, his coordinators and his players. Likewise, our next head coach needs to expect and demand a great deal from himself, his coordinators and his players. Our next head coach cannot be intimidated by Bellycheat, Tuna and whoever the Jests bring in (Cower?). Our division opponents are some of the best run teams in the league. I can understand how someone who isn't sure of himself could slip into an "avoid losing" mindset rather than a "just win" attitude. But the next head coach needs to have the smarts and the confidence to break away from that. Our next head coach needs to bring in an offensive coordinator who can prepare Edwards to become the field general. The Glory Years Bills didn't make it big until they reached the point where Kelly was ready to be handed the keys. Our next head coach needs to feel comfortable taking risks -- well-thought-out risks, but risks, nonetheless. Our next head coach needs to have a nasty streak. That's the mindset needed to counter the Pats* and the stinkin' fish. The Giants did it last year because they were just meaner. We have a corp group of players with the nastiness needed, now we just need a coach to unleash them. It seems the players just weren't fired up in the beginning of games. I think our next head coach needs to be a better motivator, too. Finally, our next head coach needs to understand AFC East football.
  24. Whitner certainly had a disappointing second-half of the season. Of course, he played hurt how many games? He was our team's best leader in the offseason and during the season. What is wrong with his comments yesterday? Doesn't everyone always say the players need to focus on each individual week, not looking ahead and not looking behind? I believe he focuses so intensely on each week that just about no one on this board could fully fathom the mindset.
  25. Bills got a shout out for beating Denver last week to make tonight possible for the Chargers.
