  1. Outstanding catch phrase from a marketing standpoint. I think it will resonate very well among the fan base as it is digested, and I think it will stick with us for a long time.
  2. Sure, now we have our inside track to Tim, but in case you want more...and it would proably help him, stop by his chat today at 3 p.m. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-6-30/...-at-3-p-m-.html
  3. If the Bills could get good value for Jackson, I'd say go for it. But it takes two (at least) to trade.
  4. Now to be up-front, I know I have no room to talk because I stopped renewing mine back in 1997 when I enlisted ans went away, and I never moved back to the area, so I am NOT a season ticket holder. But I think we should all realize that the Bills won't be the Bills a whole lot longer if those who are capable of buying season tickets stop doing so.
  5. Check out what Redskins' fans have to say about the possibility of their team acquiring TO: http://wtop.com/emedia/146729.mp3
  6. Yes, I read them both. There is no reason to post the same thing twice.
  7. A trade for Holt would only work if he were willing to renegotiate his contract with us prior to the trade, so he would need to want to play in Buffalo anyway. The trade would likely cost us a 5th or so. I agree that our best best to get Holt is to trade for him. It is not out of the realm of possibility.
  8. Oh sure, cannot you see all the Bills fans who just bought Poz jerseys dumping those for brand new TO jerseys? I am guessing he will buy #81 from Hardy. So that would mean even more sales as all Hardy's fan would instantly go out and buy his new number.
  9. Hmm...isn't this already being discussed in another thread? Maybe the Bills actually have Galloway in to get his opinion on TO.
  10. So you're saying the future of the Bills in Buffalo may very well depend on TO? Please say it ain't so because TO will not play for the Bills even if they wanted him.
  11. And I don't think the Bills are spending their time wisely having him in.
  12. I think he would be a great addition. He is a risk because of him coming off the injury, but sign him now and have the whole OTAs and camps to get a good look. We really need more vets on the line.
  13. I remember watching him shut down TO on MNF all night. I am happy for him. I am sad for the Bills.
  14. Marketing is an important issue, to be sure. But would signing TO really attract new fans or just push away some of the existing ones? I don't have that answer, but Brandon better if he is even thinking about this.
  15. Really? They over-paid for a guy not as good as the one they let walk just days earlier.
  16. I understand where you are coming from. But there is always lower. See the Bungles. TO would help us get there, I think.
  17. I think we're talking about two different things here. I would have been fine with bringing Haynesworth in, and he is not a "character player" by any means. TO is at a different level. As I said a few pages back, TO is probably the worst locker room player of his generation.
  18. I appreciate every season ticket holder. You are the ones keeping the Bills in Buffalo. But hoping someone comes in to cause havoc to get rid a a coaching and FO staff just doesn't sound right to me. The bottom-line is the guy who makes the decisions has decided to give Jauron and company another year. I will be a fan of the Bills not matter what, so I will be rooting for Jauron and company for another year. I really hope they turn it around. Do I think they can? I'm not overly optometrist, but I am hoping for the best.
  19. Instead of responding to posts you don't respect, why not respond to more of the ones with responses debating your points?
  20. What's that have to do with TO? You defend your guy by attacking another guy? That doesn't work. To your point, we already have Lynch. I would advise not going after Lynch at this time if he were a free agent.
  21. You mean national embarrassment? I for one have ensured enough of that, thank you. Did the 49ers, Eagles or Cowgirls get any positive national press for bringing TO in?
  22. We lost Coles because Cinncy was willing to over-pay him and the Bills weren't. I am fine with that. This is heading in a different direction than the rest of this thread, so I will make this to the point. Ralph Wilson, the man who actually makes the big calls for the Bills, has decided to give the current regime the 2009 season to prove itself. What you are supporting in your previous post is signing someone with the hopes that players tears the team up from the inside and guarantees the current regime fails its last chance quickly. That does not sound like a fan. If the current front office and coaching staff is so terrible, then they will fail on their own and won't need to bring TO to further embarrass our team on the national level.
  23. There is a vast difference between being a leader and being a disruption or distraction. The fine Bills of yesteryear were great leaders -- definitely not distractions. TO is a disruption and distraction -- definitely not a great leader. Read what any of this past teammates have to say about him if you don't believe me.
  24. Yeah, because the last three rebuilding processes have gone so very well for us.
  25. A quarterback controversy is nothing like what TO stirs up. Neither of the QBs you mentioned called coaches or team leaders out, by name in front of national TV cameras in their front yards. Yeah, that is a bit specifci, but I trust you get my point. TO doesn't care about the ramification of his actions and words. He does whatever pleases him while totally disregarding what is best for the TEAM. I am convinced TO has mental issues that preclude him from being a good team player.
