  1. I don't think that's all his fault. He put on weight last offseason to improve his durability. Then he got his bell rung in Arizona, which was going to take him out no matter who he is. Now he worked with Drew Brees to help learn how to better protect his knees. At least he is working on this issue.
  2. Wow. That's terrible, in my humble opinion. If the company cannot wait until a shot of him actually in a Bills uniform is available, they should use the shot of him in the Bills hat at the press conference introducing him. Manipulated photos should never be used.
  3. Your link is from two years after JP was drafted, and there's a difference from what Jaws said about JP back in 2004. Here, Jaws says of JP, "from the waist up, he's as good as it gets, with the velocity, the delivery." He also ranked Losman ahead of Philip Rivers... http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/20...er-losman_x.htm
  4. There is no way that card is for real.
  5. I am optimistic about Edwards and very much want to see him succeed, but I clearly remember Jaws saying JP was going to be a star.
  6. I thought about that, but he isn't a right tackle anymore.
  7. Definitely in top 10 at their positions TO Lynch Whitner Moorman Parrish -- punt returning McGee -- KO returing Possibles Evans Stroud Schobel Lindell Hopefully in the future Edwards McKelvin Wood Levitre Maybin Nelson
  8. Did you see the quote I noted in the post just above yours? Zorn called the guy out in a post-game press conference, basically saying Davis doesn't have it upstairs and isn't on the field because he had no confidence in Davis. I think that's a pretty bad omen.
  9. You know you're in trouble when your head coach says this to the media about you, "It really is a matter of [Davis] doing his assignments correctly. It's a trust factor. It's not a speed factor. It's not an ability factor. But it makes no sense for me to put a guy out there who can run real fast, but not going in the right direction. Or in some cases not even go out. It's not that he forgot, it's just that it didn't register."
  10. I didn't like it. He made a mistake. Acknowledge it and move on. No need to counter-attack the readers.

  12. Please either delete or fix the link in the quote in your post. I pasted the wrong link in my original post. Thanks.

  15. Ballsy.

  17. Sorry, bud. It seems like there is always a few who have problems with these TSN links. I don't know how to get around them. It is to a PDF-type of page that shows the tab's print edition.
  18. http://today.sportingnews.com/sportingnews...1m&folio=36 Urlacher tops the list. Willis, Dansby, Lewis and Beason round out the top five. Poz's predecessor is #14.
  19. Correct. Twitter limits each message to 140, which includes spaces. It becomes something like license plate writing for each word to get the whole message in. Really, it is nearly a new version of English. Even as an English purist, I don't think TO's writing here shows anything about his handle on proper English.
  20. I am in favor of keeping the coin toss but dropping the sudden death; rather, play out the entire extra quarter.
  21. Bingo! That's all it is for. It's not for the gamesmanship of it. It's not for safety. It's not for the fans.
  22. I don't understand why a team should be required to make any such report.
  23. That seems to be more than a bit of over-simplification.
  24. http://today.sportingnews.com/sportingnews...1m&folio=23 Haynesworth tops the list. Williams, Wilfork, Nagata and Canty round out the top five. Phat Pat is #14.
