  1. Nah, I was on the toilet...not in it.
  2. A producer I met recently just told me his reporters are hearing from sources outside of Buffalo that this may be the real deal, that he now believes he is actually in talks with Buffalo. He is trying hard to confirm where Vick is right now. The guy is reliable, he says his sources are reliable.
  3. http://www.thestar.com/sports/article/680615 He will be reinstated after the Super Bowl.
  4. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...d0-86e713275f52 Chris Brown reports this Lynch kept it up for an hour and it contributed to the flaring of tempers at the end of practice. I like it. Actually, I love it! This team needs to be fired up. The blood needs to boil. Going through the motions "business like" isn't going to get players to the next level. Good job, Marshawn! Keep it up.
  5. The rumor of Vick at the airport last night is really picking up steam on the social networks, especially Twitter. Not saying I believe it, as I don't, but a lot of people are talking about it now.
  6. This holds a lot of water with me. Schefter is the man. Donte has Tweeted about other players in the recent past, most notable that linebacker from St. Louis. He signed elsewhere. But I do think he'd know if Vick was in town or even being seriously considered. Then again, if he was privy to that info, wouldn't he be told to keep it quiet? I think the backlash would be terrible, but we need a backup. The team has shown it is willing to go all in now.
  7. So goynahan, Are you going to reply to the questions about your post? You wrote has responded that way "everytime" [sic] he's been asked. How many times has he answered that way? I am only aware of one time, in which it was reported in a very informal manner, suggesting to me it may have been nothing more than an off the cuff, an as-a-matter-of-a-fact type of comment. I think Walker is working hard, doing what the team needs and doesn't deserve to be ripped at this point. And yes, you're ripping him by calling him a clown and overstating what's been said.
  8. True, but Mort's not scheduled to go to Cortland.
  9. It is definitely an add. I guess the T.O. show was too much for Mort to miss.
  10. That's not really what happened. Rather, PK says we should sign Vick because the Bills are "in it to win it this year."
  11. Re-watching the interception play, it appears Evans was open and the rest of the line was forming a nice pocket. Another half a second from Levitre and Evans pulls that one in.
  12. Chris Brown reports... http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/08/11/l...well-vs-titans/ Says the interception was just one play. Keeping in mind that play was in his very first drive against NFL players on an opposing team, I was happy with that Andy showed Sunday night.
  13. Good question. His title is "lead journalist." I am more willing to call him a reporter than a journalist, he does "report" but because of who signs his paychecks, he cannot always be impartial or fully adhere to journalistic ethics.
  14. I was taking it easy, just explaining why it is important. But you didn't delete the post I was talking about (yet), which is the post just above my explanation. No, but I am someone who has a vested interest in properly adhering to usage and copyright laws. This conversation has come up many times here. It is a big deal to those whom make a living out of creating these articles.
  15. K-Gun10, first off, the link was already posted. Second, and way more importantly, please do NOT post the entire article here. Chris Brown and just about every other reporter out there have their success measured in part by the number of hits their articles generate. When you post the whole article here, it gives others zero reason to visit the official location of the article, thus unfairly down-grading Chris Brown's success. In other words, please delete your post. And in the future, post just the link, a short description and your personal comments. Edit -- > Thanks, Lori!
  16. Only 11 Pro Bowls? Who needs that kind of experience?
  17. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/08/11/m...until-he-signs/ Sounds right to me. Mitchell is just all over the place, huh?
  18. You are correct. When I commented, the thread and its title only mentioned McGhee.
  19. False. It was the fist thing the woman interviewing T.O. on the field right after the game said. Something along the lines of, You had a very good start even though you said you stubbed your toe. T.O. nodded and started talking about the game.
  20. He mentioned in his post-game interview on NBC Sunday night that he stubbed his toe.
  21. Who do you suppose he was going to beat for a roster spot? Schobel? Maybin? Kelsay? Denny? Four is probably it at DE. Even then, he'd need to beat Ellis and Bryan for a fifth spot.
  22. Stupar is white. Check out this article about him: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...5090601785.html Also, Stupar is the nephew of Jeff Hostetler, and the brother of current Penn State linebacker Nate Stupar. His father was also a lineman at Penn State from 1976-79.
  23. Trent has gone on the record saying his choice for the starting tight end is Schouman. After that, DJ pretty much said that would be the case. I thought Stupar looked very good in camp, too. But it seems for him to make it, the Bills would have to cut Fine. I like Stupar over Schouman, at this point.
  24. I certainly feel bad for the guy, but he wasn't going to make the final cut anyway.
  25. Trent is a smart guy and a good leader.
