London game will be streamed on Yahoo
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love it then goodbye DTV, cut the cable and save $50 a month. I'd go for it. Two things keep me in "plugged in" sports stations like ESPN and ST. This new thing, Sling TV is a way for $20 a month to get streaming ESPN without a cable connection. Only thing left to keep me from cutting the cord completely would be ST. If the Bills start doing well, more national games, less need for ST then too. A friend of mine who's a Steeler's fan gave it as the year prior 11 out of 16 of their games were on some form of network TV -
NFL Veterans Combine

Will Michael Sam attend or is he too busy dancing? -
Question here to ask. Often when players are franchised, they don't sign the tag, refuse to report to all offseason activities, camp, pre-season and often only report by the week 10 deadline. In the case of Clay with the transition tag, if Miami had matched the contract, would Clay have then been considered under contract and be obligated to attend all these functions, or be at risk to being fined?? Could it have been Clay to Miami, "I want out, if you match the offer, I won't report and will be a malcontent"? Could that be why Miami quickly declined to match as they knew it wasn't going to end well, so wanted to move on to other potential signings

The Offensive Line: Better Than Advertised?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone know if the O-line coach of the Bills' was already with the Bears whe nChriss Williams played there? If so could be that the coach is stating I know how to use him and make him look good. Or did that coach come in and get rid of him, if so doesn't bode well for him here then -
My Mock Draft after Charles Clay Signing
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to r henderson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But that's just throwing away draft picks. You have four starters from last year plus Richie. Backups of Kujo, Richardson, Urbik. That's eight so room for one more player to make roster, assuming they cut Williams. You binr in more than one in the draft and likely someone else is getting cut. Until you know one of these rookies for certain isn't going to work out, should keep them. If you keep drafting players, and trhen the next year draft his replacement, you'll never get ahead. -
Buffalo Bills needs as of 3/18/2015

I think we still sign a guard in FA, draft LB or safety first -
Will the Bills ever sign Charles Clay?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could be that Clay is telling Miami, you want to get a long term contract, first remove the tag so I can gauge my true worth, then we'll talk. But Miami knows once they do that, they will price themselves out of the market very quickly, so instead are keeping the tag on, and are offering a somewhat low long term contract, but Clays isn't biting on it, not since he knows the Bills at some point are going to offer him more. Maybe other teams wouldn't want to play that much as he's not atypical TE, but in Romans offense he's a perfect match so the Bills are willing to pay more than many others are willing. -
Think it's going to be the center for the Bears, can't recall the name, but he's been mentioned a couple of times??

offensive line competition.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd argue the guards were a worse than average, but I agree with your overall thought that all we need is one more piece to play guard and likely they'll be improvement with Richardson and Kujo from last year. I don't get all this sudden Henderson hating. All season rarely heard anyone complaining about him, now suddenly he seems to suck according to many here. -
Will the Bills ever sign Charles Clay?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said that half kidding, but I did think the people here who were going nuts because they kept him (and RB) were way off base. They weren't the problem, the problem was working withing the budget that RW and even more Littman set. Now they have a real budget to work with. -

This could be the second time this week Miami's FO panicked according to this http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/jordan-camerons-agents-manipulated-media-to-get-dolphins-contract/ar-AA9MHp8#page=1 -

Ian Rapoport: Eagles working to trade G Evan Mathis
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade him for Kiko. We had a great D last year without, we don't need him. -
Question can the following be done?? Assuming Miami doesn't lift the tag as they want to try and mess Buffalo's plans, so we give him an offer. Miami then has five days to match. Can Miami and Clay though instead work out a long term cap friendly deal that would allow them to keep both Cameron and Clay?? Would allow for Clay to kind play the Bill's too by getting a better offer out of Miami. It may come down to where he'd rather play though it seems in most cases the player would rather stay with old team if money is equal. Or at that point is Miami restricted to the original transition tag offer only and/or matching our offer identically??

Move Eric Wood to Guard..

I'd be happy if they signed LaPunta. Could have either Woods or him play guard. Get one more backup for depth and are set. -

No RW around this time to bail out the Davis's -
Typically the logic is a pick one year out is valued one round lower so offering next years 1st rounder owuld be the equivalant of offering thme a 2nd this year. So probably not likely you'd get him for that. Maybe this years 2nd and next years 1st would have got the deal done?? But would we even want to
