Glenn is a top 15 pick and rising. He only played his senior year at left OT and naturally had a rough start but showed continued improvement. He could end up being a very good left tackle and if not, a probowl guard. I could easily see him going to the Bills at 10.

I think you're right there. He has had the ability to spot talent over the years and for that I give him his due. To me, however, it seems as if he really doesn't start looking at these guys until the senior bowl. His early lists are often way off.

Brandt is way overrated and rests on his laurels from days gone by. He didn't even have Brock Osweiler in his top 100 a month ago now he is #35. Two months ago he had Vontaze Burfict his #22 ranked player, Alshon Jeffery #9 and Zac Brown #10. Jeffery and Brown are now 2nd rounders and Burfict off the list. When you have dramatic changes in the list, to me, that is a big red flag that this guy doesn't really know the players in and out. It's not too hard to look at the million or so rankings out there and formulate your own list of names. He sits and watches prospects at the combine and talks to scouts and other personnel people to come up with his updated list. To me this says more about his ability to gather together opinions rather than truly being an idependent minded scout, so to speak. That being said, I still like to read his later lists because I think it represents a general consensus of a number of fairly good talent evaluators.

Jaguars picked in that group 4 yrs in a row. The Bills have been above and below them but no higher than 14 in the past decade+. Sad, really sad. There seem to be about 6-7 blue chips this year. I think Jacksonville goes with a DE, maybe Ingram or Coples. Miami probably goes Tannehill if he is there, or maybe DE. Carolina looks like they need a DT, so I would say either Poe or Cox. At 10, I'm not thrilled with the choices. If Tannehill or Richardson fall to 10 there may be some teams interested in trading up. I could see that happening this year

This thread would have a totally different feel if Bell had been re-signed. We would all be saying what a good move it was and that Hairston wasn't ready to to be the guy. The Bills wanted Bell back, just not at the $$ he was demanding. If he gets hurt, (a likely possiblity)then the Bills will look good for not paying. If he stays healthy and holds down the fort until Peters returns, the Eagles will look like geniuses. I was hoping we wouldn't have to go OT with our first pick but that looks like a given now.

Hill will be a mid to late first round pick. If we trade down then he could be in the plans. The Bills also have a record of trading up into the late first round , so that is a possibility as well. My understanding is the year Tebow came out, we were trying to trade up to get another Georgia Tech WR. That trade never materialized since Demaryius Thomas was picked by Denver.
