Greg Williams was screwed by Donahoe. Drafting an injured Mcgahee was a slap in the face. Dumping Pat Williams and giving a first rounder to the pats for the statue really hurt.
I think having quality second QB trumps many other needs. What happens if Fitz goes down? If the Bills didn't think much of Kaepernick then pick the CB. If he was rated close to Ponder and if they would have taken him there then QB trumps CB (in my opinion). San Fran. sure felt good enough about the guy to trade away 3 picks for the chance to move up 9 slots. If Kaepernick turns out to be a really good player down the line then I will be disappointed the bills went with a CB they had higher on their board.
Bleacher Report must pay a lot of money to have their site always come up first on most Google draft searches.
I've viewed them in the past but not anymore. Mostly crappy rumors and such.
There have been trade rumors between the Eagles and the Bengals for similar picks except #4 rather than #3.
This makes a lot more sense since Kolb is needed there more than here. I suspect this rumor was created to
drive the price up on the Bengals. I really don't think the Bills have any interest in Kolb. Kolb wants to start
and I'm not sure in our offense he beats out Fitzy next year. Plus you got to pay him way more than a rooky draft pick.
Bengals Eagles trade
Kaepernick looks good at his pro day going 36 of 38.
If we go defense in round one, then this is who I want in round 2.
Looks like he isn't going to make it to round 3.
Kaepernick
Danger, Danger...Dr. Smith...
I'm sure they are looking for a high #2 and a #1 in 2012.
Some dumb team will make the trade and live to regret it next year.
Danny Watkins could be the guy. From what I have heard, he looks really good. Although he played at Baylor, he is
from Canada and probably would fit right in in the south (Buffalo) In any event, Gailey should get a good look
at him this week.
