  1. McCarron is 6'3" 220 lbs 10 inch hands.
  2. I didn't say he would be the starter. It's 4 more games than any draft pick.
  3. If the Bengals want to move up above several teams in front of them to get a top WR, why not consider getting AJ McCarron as part of the deal? I think he has two years left on his contract and is better that much of what we could get after round 2 in this draft. Trade pick #19 + 3rd round pick to Cincinnati for pick #24 + McCarron + 2nd rounder. McCarron played pretty well in relief of Dalton. http://www.cincyjungle.com/2016/4/27/11517862/nfl-trade-rumors-bengals-trying-to-move-up-in-nfl-draft-for-josh
  4. It seems odd to me to trade up for #2 for a QB when you don't even know who the Rams are taking. Most of the "experts have Wentz ahead of Goff and only a few have the Rams taking Goff. I think it will be Wentz at #1. To me, he has more upside than Goff. I hope the Eagles arn't counting on Wentz being there at #2.
  5. It will be Wentz at #1 I'm pretty bummed if I'm Cleveland, I think they really wanted Wentz. I would be surprised if they took Goff at #2. Maybe San Fran takes Goff. Philly could be in play. Remember, Tom Donahoe heads up their draft room and he moved up to pick the California kid for Buffalo. I don't think Goff fits the Buffalo QB mold. Small hands worry me in Buffalo weather.
  6. According to reports, the Bills scouted Wentz more than any other team. If Wentz were there at #2 and if the Bills are not sold on Tyrod, then moving up to get the #1 rated QB on your board would make sense. If the Titans trade out of #1 and say Wentz goes to Philly or San Fran, then I wouldn't make this trade. Goff's smaller hands worry me in Buffalo weather. The past Buffalo-California QB (Losman, Edwards, Johnson etc..) connections also worry me.
  7. I would rather have AJ McCarron than Hogan, Hackenberg, Prescott, or Cook. If Cincy comes calling for #19 then see if they are willing to make the trade.
  8. Maybe this year is different. They have an interest. http://www.cincyjungle.com/visits-workouts/2016/3/17/11254972/bengals-set-to-meet-with-ole-miss-wide-receiver-laquon-treadwell
  9. Maybe if a top WR drops.Treadwell maybe?
  10. To me, Hogan is way more Trent Edwards than Andrew Luck. I'm bumming that there is no way to get Wentz without giving up the farm. The guy who kind of intrigues me that no one is talking about is AJ Mccarron. If anything, would be a good backup for 2 cheap years. Maybe if Cincy calls to move up on draft day, McCarron could be part of the deal.
  11. well, there go the compensation picks for next year
  12. I'm in favor of Tabloid Jerry or TJ for short.
  13. Poor Jerry, He just can't help himself. He submits his little snipes from his home computer and thinks people really care about what he says. They are all the same, just little modifications in the wording. The Bills are dumb....they need to do this.. yada, yada, yada. Tabloid Jerry at his best. He will always be the outsider sniping from his bedroom computer. Not taken seriously by anyone in the room but himself. Alienated from people in the know because he always resorts to this type of treatment of anyone at OBD. Owners, management, coaches, it doesn't matter. This is all the guy can offer. Tabloid quality rants and unfounded opinion. The people of Buffalo deserve better. I use to like to read Vic Carucci's stuff both at the BN and in Cleveland, before Sullivan's obvious influence on him. He seems to have become more tabloid and less substance. In any working environment, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch. His tiresome, cynical, schtick has to be a real downer for those that work there. The BN just isn't going to get any better as long as Jerry is there. I'm in favor of having the name of the author on the TBD page so that I can avoid opening his crappy rants. Quite depressing.
  14. I hope Jaylon Smith falls due to his injury. Many consider him a top 5 prospect if he is healthy.
  15. What kind of a parent would name their kid Huge?
  16. Replacing Carpenter would be a dumb move. Does Rex think there are better kickers out there on the street? Carpenter was pretty darn good last year. He has been hurt. Hey Rex, cut the guy a little slack. I'm still trying to figure out why we kept Boobie Dixon and cut Freddie.
  17. 2 more points or 2 feet to the left and Superbowl XXV would have been ours. EJ will be the guy to lead our offense. The D will dominate.
  18. He could end up with the ravens. They are always looking to replace a free agent loss with a cut player. That's why they always get compensatory picks. So far this year they have lost 4 free agents including their TE and have signed no free agents.
  19. Chris Palmer driving?
  20. We need a real GM not a fantasy football fool. I'm so mad I could just spit.
  21. I want to punch Whaley in the face!
  22. You're right, my bad. I'm just a little perplexed by this.
  23. I can't wait to hear Doug Whaley stutter his way through the explanation for signing Incognito. Exert our will...dictate to our opponent.. be bullies..blah..blah..blah. I hate this signing. I have been a proud supporter of the Bills for about 45 years. I thought we were one of the classier organizations. "Buffalo Bullies"-what a crappy image to be promoting.
  24. Now that you bring in a dipsh.t like Incognito, forget about a guy like Iupoti. He probably just scratched Buffalo off the list. This is a dumb move, imo.
  25. I wonder how he feels now. This was written before the whole Jay Cutler fiasco.
