  1. Any sort of evaluation before he steps on the field is a guess. His legs still work plenty fine, so no one can say definitively that he won’t be at least 80% of what he was. He’s fully healed, the question is how much strength has returned to the pec? Only DJ knows how he feels.
  2. I imagine packages with both Jones and Joseph in the middle on obvious running downs. If Daquan could be somewhat close to his old self, that’s a tough one to run against.
  3. Randy ran in the 4.2s! He had just as much straight line speed as Tyreek, just wasn’t as shifty. Of course you trade that shiftiness in for size and catch radius, which made him arguably the most feared WR the game has ever seen.
  4. Skip Bayless Twitter/X feed is hilarious. Typical “the sky is falling” fandom.
  5. He hasn’t made his typical Micah Hyde plays this year and with yet another neck issue it’s probably smart for him to call it a career. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills are starting two new safeties next year.
  6. I was thinking this has to be the most “unclutch” talented Bills team I could remember.
  7. Yeah I don’t think Gabe’s covered nearly every route he runs, but for whatever reason he and Josh just don’t jive. I remember in TC Josh saying Kincaid was “fun to throw to” and “gives good body language.” I’ve never heard him say something similar about Davis. Josh just doesn’t have the same trust in him and Gabe only reinforces that distrust when seemingly the highest percentage of Allen’s INTs are in his direction.
  8. I thought Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are the most subdued announcers, both boring. Michaels at least has interesting things to say from time to time and has some voice inflection for certain calls, unlike the aforementioned boring duo. If NBC wants excitement, bring back Gus Johnson.
  9. As stubborn as I am, I wouldn’t have dropped charges against her. Even if I wanted to move on.
  10. Mrs Teller said the Bills would regret giving up on her son…
  11. I saw Gabe sprint up the seam and said “oh!” I thought we had a gimme, even without the luxury of seeing the entire field. When Josh didn’t throw it to him I felt maybe a safety was on top. When I saw the replay I just shook my head. Josh has to hit that. He also has to hit the one against Philly too. The endzone angle showed Gabe beat his man immediately to the left and continued up that way. There was no reason for Josh to throw to the right, which would’ve meant Gabe would’ve had to cross right after winning left. At least we won this time.
  12. It’s strange no one’s talking about it. From the endzone view where Tony and Kelce are running towards us, Tony deliberately throws a shoulder into Benford, the player guarding Kelce, which allows Kelce to run uncovered. Offensive pass interference all the way.
  13. Harty’s money definitely should’ve gone to D Hop. I’m just glad the Chiefs didn’t get him. They’d be a problem with another legitimate threat besides Kelce.
  14. Does anyone know what the parlay payout would’ve been taking both the Giants and Titans to win? Should’ve been huge.
  15. Yeah they would’ve had three consecutive 3 and outs when they needed to put something, anything, on the scoreboard, but the pass to Murray was ruled a catch. They didn’t get a first down after that fortuitous ruling either. I don’t know if the offense is playing tight, worried about a turnover, or what, but KC’s defense isn’t so good that it should completely stymie the Bills after they moved the ball with ease earlier.
  16. Bills weren’t on the wrong side of a bad call in this one, nor did they get a break. The much maligned call was the correct one, no matter how much complaining the Chiefs are doing.
  17. My biggest gripe about this defense is that receivers aren’t challenged at the LoS. Doesn’t matter if Sean is playing zone, man, or blitzing like a kamikazee, there’s always someone open 2-3 yards after the snap with his closest defender 7 yards off. Get up and challenge the receiver! What good is a blitz if you give the opposing offense an immediate outlet? It was illustrated perfectly in that post last week where Dan Orlovsky said “the Bills never forced Hurts to make the tough throw.” That’s McD’s defense and it’s infuriating.
  18. I find it funny all the talk this morning is about an offside call where the receiver was clearly in the wrong. If this call was against one of our own, say Deonte Harty (as it was in an earlier game), my rage wouldn’t be directed at officiating, I’d be pissed at Harty for not knowing where he was on the field. Chiefs fans anger is misplaced. Im upset Kelce was allowed to get that open on the crossers. Where’s the DB communication? Even if it’s man, if someone crosses your face that tight, stay to your side, switch responsibilities. It’s like defenders on a basketball court. It was ridiculous one of them got picked off with no other DB in the picture. What is the secondary coach teaching his players?
  19. WR screens work against us because we play soft coverage on the outside, there’s space for the opposing receivers and blockers to work. Conversely, we can’t get them to work against teams like the Chiefs that play up and challenge receivers at the LoS. Theres no space to go to work after catching the ball, there’s a defender right there.
  20. He seemed much more grounded, vulnerable, and human in this presser. He answered every single question and wasn’t once his usual prickly self. If this was the McD from 24 hours ago, before this “attack on his character” came out, when asked about Von Miller again he would’ve resorted to his usual “I respect the question, but I spoke about it yesterday and I’ll just leave it at that.” Hopefully he read the article and is also an introspective person. If he is, he can grow from this experience. Taking those truths in and reflecting on them will ultimately lead to a better man. I’ll be pulling for him the rest of the season because I’m a Bills fan first and foremost. That doesn’t mean I don’t want him gone if he fails to make the playoffs though. Introspection can’t help with perennially bad game day management.
  21. Josh has been yelling audible names all year. The next one we’ll hear on the field is “bin Laden! bin Laden!” 😂 What’s next for McD? Maybe he’ll try to inspire the team with a story about the Boston marathon bombers.
  22. Maybe no longer 0% now?
  23. For McD’s sake, he better beat the Chiefs Sunday. A win would quiet the chatter a bit, a loss would ignite his seat with kerosene.
  24. I legitimately didn’t know there were vet rest days coming off a bye week. Rest from what? That’s all they’ve been doing during their week off.
  25. Somebody get those Kelce quotes to Cheffers. I’m sure he’s heard/seen them before, but it’d be nice to give him a reminder before Sunday.
