  1. Von Miller, Melvin Ingram, Zack Cunningham. All three were available in season for peanuts or for free. Beane apparently didn’t think they were an upgrade to what we have.
  2. That’s a resounding YES. Miller still has plenty of speed off the edge and we have next to none. I didn’t see the play during the game, but someone had commented that Jerry got stoned by a RB. We have DEs that aren’t overly powerful or fast, none of them strike fear in the QB.
  3. Seems like the timeout was taken for the sake of taking it. If KC truly came out in the same formation, as did the Bills, if you’re Frazier or McD, you tell the DE (Obada) lined up on Kelce’s side to hit him coming off the line. He was the only receiver to that side, shouldn’t have been that tough to cover.
  4. Obada could’ve hit him as well before rushing. Four games we’ve played the Chiefs and in all of them I see Kelce running free off the line down after down. Frazier never calls for a DE or LB jam. It’s sickening how the entire defense was instructed to play back and give KC yards.
  5. I’d like to know what Levi’s responsibility was on the play. Looks like Kelce is the only receiver to his side, if that’s the case he should’ve ran with him after his FREE release off the line.
  6. Beane said his number one priority this past off-season was drafting players who affected the QB. Rousseau and Basham aren’t athletic freaks, so after this game I’m sure he’s thinking “we need more team speed.” Who knows, had they selected Creed Humphrey (10 RAS) in round 2 instead of Basham, maybe the Chiefs don’t make it this far with such an important piece missing from their OL.
  7. Don’t cut him, but I would absolutely try to trade him this off-season. See how other teams value him and what they’d be willing to give. I’m at the point where Klein and Milano on the field offers no significant drop off.
  8. Does any other franchise have more last second gut wrenching losses in the biggest games?
  9. Running prevent D PREVENTS a W every single damn time. Would’ve been okay getting burnt with sending 5, but absolutely don’t allow them easy chunk plays! They only needed a FG, not a TD. Just gut wrenching.
  10. Fully believe had the Bills won that game, they win the Super Bowl. Just an absolute gut wrenching loss and now we have to wait for half a year to start all over. Go Bengals! Go Rams! Anyone but the Chiefs.
  11. This loss wasn’t squarely on Edmunds, but I’m not re-signing him to anything above what Milano makes. Let some other team overpay him, he’s NOT a game changer despite what some of you would like to believe.
  12. Chiefs fans LOVE to see the ball taken out of Allen’s hand.
  13. I don’t ever want to hear that Edmunds takes away the middle again.
  14. If Dane had awareness he would’ve picked that.
  15. Brady still throws one of the prettiest deep balls ever, which we really got to see shine (unfortunately) when he had Randy Moss.
  16. I don’t know Allen’s deep ball numbers in comparison to the test of the league, but it does seem like it has been his weakness. Passes that travel 40+ yards through the air.
  17. According to the Chiefs MLB, Anthony Hitchens, Spags plans to be very aggressive with his scheme and corners today. He said that if they’re going to get beat by this Bills offense, it’ll have to be over the top. Obviously anything said pregame has to be taken with a grain of salt, because they could come out doing the exact opposite.
  18. The team is aware what’s at stake, but I don’t think it changes focus, or adds anything extra. Whether the game was in Nashville next week, or Buffalo, they’d go out in the same way to try to beat the Chiefs.
  19. Road warriors! Will tomorrow’s visitors win as well? I know at least one of them will…
  20. Looked like chickens with their heads jerking from left to right 😂
  21. Went poking around on the Bengals board. They’re understandably excited. When asked who they want to face next, 13 have voted so far and only 2 want to see the Bills. They all say that KC is the weaker of the two. Just a little outside perspective.
  22. Edmunds isn’t a bust, but he’s not an impact player. Money talks, so we’ll see how the team values him after next season. For now, we’ve got 3 more games to win! And I hope he brings his A+ game every single one, because we’ll need it.
  23. Titans have their entire offensive weaponry, correct? Henry, Brown, and Jones, don’t know how many games they’ve all played together, but the Titans at full strength are a (physical) problem.
  24. I get so tiiiiiirre hearing Chiefs fans say they’re a totally different team from earlier in the season but will then mention in the same breath how the Bills lost to the Jaguars. How many weeks ago was that? They add Chris Jones and Melvin Ingram this time, but subtract Rashad Fenton. We add Harrison Phillips and Matt Milano, but subtract Tre White. Given the Chiefs inconsistencies all year, most recently against the Broncos, despite what their fans want to believe, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills go into Arrowhead and again win by double digits. I’m going with a score of 30-21 though, in a game that feels like it should’ve been a bigger Bills victory.
