  1. I agree 100%. I am proud of being from buffalo, and will defend it tooth and nail when any outsider trashes the city. However, being proud of my roots and liking the city where i grew up doesnt mean that everything is fine and dandy there. Buffalo still has multitudes of economic woes. The city is still sinking. Theres not much sign that an improvement is going to happen anytime soon. So yes, i love buffalo and i love being from buffalo. Everyone around me knows where i am from and gets my full fury when they take shots at the bills and sabres. However, IMO, there are better places to live. and no, i have no plans to return anytime in the near future. Theres nothing there economically to bring me back.
  2. Just so you guys know, this isnt a huge deal outside of buffalo. Its not like the NFL is nervously biting their nails over whats happening. The big sports outlets have run an article or 2 on the situation. But the buffalo snooze is the only paper running daily articles crucifying Lynch.
  3. That was some all around great golf. Too bad rocco just couldnt muster enough in the end.
  4. Hard to tell. I've never seen fox actually broadcast any news.
  5. Theres some discussion going on about the CWS in the baseball forum. And dont even get me started about that final FSU-UM game, where miami ran and hid like a bunch of cowards.
  6. Lets go Rocco!
  7. I'd settle for simply having our WRs catch passes in stride where they can run after the catch. Thats where players such as reed and parrish are most dangerous. I swear, last season 95% of our passes were caught by a WR who was standing still on a comeback or out route.
  8. Does this mean that the phrase "he went b.harami" has jumped the shark? Or can b.harami go b.harami again?
  9. Got it. You're the only "normal" one on TBD. Everybody else around here are the trolls. Dont you have some texans to kill?
  10. Wait. did i just see a post by a poster with a long history of flinging insults at others telling someone else to learn the golden rule? By the way, you did say you were leaving, and many of us were looking forward to it. By not posting, you may actually appeared to have the slightest bit of intelligence for a change. But i guess it was all an attention ploy.
  11. Its all about common sense and moderation, something not too many people have these days. Quite simple really. 1. The people in the crowd should know better than to create a huge ruckus. Sure, its ok to cheer and yell, but cheer, shout their name, and then sit down so the next person can hear their name called. 2. The school/police need to show some moderation. Arresting people for cheering is a giant waste of time and resources. Do what every other place in the world does with rodwy people. Toss them out. Plus, the police have better things to do, like subpoena-ing an entire company when one employee has a little run-in with the law.
  12. Got it. Vinny Testeverde should be our QB.
  13. hell no. but they arent going to school in south carolina.
  14. but, by his lahjik, if he testifies, that means he was involved in the incident, and probably in marshawn's car if not driving. So, using the typical tard lahjik of the board, we can conclude that dwight drane got drunk, ran over a girl, hid at his house where he beat his girlfriend and then murdered his dad. And he has no morals because he's not talking to the police.
  15. Ok, so the school does not want people cheering and thereby creating a "distraction" which causes the audience to miss some names being called. So to eliminate any "distractions" they send police into the crowd and arrest people? Seems like thats a bit bigger of a distraction. People (and schools) are stupid.
  16. Well then, mr upstanding citizen, why dont you call the eric county DA and tell him you'll testify in front of the grand jury. Since you know that Lynch was driving and you know that he knew he hit the girl and then took off. And i call bull sh-- on "cops giving the guy a break." Clark is pissed because no one will talk, so not hes kicking and screaming and pounding his fists and throwing a fit like a 3 year old by subpoenaing wilson and everyone else.
  17. so is poise + noodle arm better than cannon arm and less poise?
  18. And all this time i thought the hokey pokey was what it was all about.
  19. Hell, this has to be more enjoyable than all the damn Peters and Lynch threads. I never thought the offseason would drive me to a point where i'd miss the irrational QB debates.
  20. I'm guessing Bill already has an order in for a jersey.
  21. no matter what it means, dawgg should be around shortly to defend his mentally challenged buddy and to tear down yet another bills player.
  22. No one on this board would ever party until 3:30am, because they are much more responsible than that. Much like no one here has ever driven when they potentially had a bit too much to drink. And they have never done stupid sh-- when they were between the ages of 16-24. With the group of angels that inhabit the board, i am utterly shocked that God himself hasn't descended down to Earth and granted the Bills a Super Bowl win.
  23. Great post man! This needs tobe highlighted and pinned for all the holier-than-thou jackasses than infest this board.
