  1. Reminds me of a girl that used to work in my old lab. She said she's try anything twice, because the first time usually hurt.
  2. Compared to whom? Lots of DE's "disappear" against good tackles. Thats why those guys are "good" tackles. Schobel averages about 10 sacks per season in his career, which isnt too shabby by any standards. The fact that he's 31 may be a bit of a concern, but theres no reason why he doesnt have 4-5 more good season left in him. And, gien the quality of a DE he is, and comparing his contract to other DEs around the league, he's right in line and not overpaid.
  3. Funny how you claim schobel disappears against better RT's when schobel normally lines up on the right side of our D, meaning he's facing the oppostion's LT.
  4. Sir, please remove all of your clothes (suspect removes clothes) Now sir, what is your phone number...
  5. where in the hell does that guy keep his phone that a cavity search was needed to find it?
  6. Bill cant actually defend any criticism of trent without resorting to some type of losman-bashing.
  7. probably something about the canal having to be 1,000 miles long and rise anywhere from 5,000-7,000 feet in elevation.
  8. So by your definition, Edwards is a 2 year vet at this point in time. Also, its foolish to expect that edwards will start 16 games. Chances are Losman will start at least 3 games this season, given Edwards inability to stay healthy over the course of a season.
  9. Sorry to see one of the true funny guys go.
  10. Stay classy supposed "bills fans." Its pretty bad when Edwards is the unquestioned starter and people still feel the need to fling childish personal insults at the backup because he didnt produce as hoped.
  11. first time offender, and only minor charges leads me to believe that there will be no suspension. Goodell has shown that he's harsh, but those are for repeat offenders. So i dont think Marshawn will be suspended at all for this incident, but you can bet he'll be on the radar screen of the league, and he better not screw up again.
  12. I sure as hell do. good stuff. And unsalted pretzels are just boring. Lots of times i even do the old "lick the pretzel and dip it in the salt" trick before eating it.
  13. a full size bed? com on man, you're a grown up! Then again, i'm guessing a queen or king size mattress wouldnt fit in your new bed frame.
  14. So Lana is sick of sleeping on a crappy mattress on the floor, and made you buy the new mattress and bed. Now she told you she wants some new sheets too...next time i'd recommend asking on a site where she doesnt post.
  15. Happy birthday!
  16. Pretty good actually. In 10 years, we expect there will be a full development and incorporation of new technology that will make ostriches the cleanest, cheapest and most efficient transportation system in the U.S. So when that happens in 10 years, we'll really be pulling in the big bucks.
  17. Its not making the H powered car thats the problem, its producing the actual hydrogen thats the problem. What the hell is the point of having a "clean" hydrogen car when the process to make the hydrogen is more polluting than a fossil fuel car? And again, who is going to foot the bill for the completely new hydrogen delivery infrastructure needed? As fan in chicago said, you cant simply change the laws of physics and chemistry and *assume* that in 10 years we will have an economical, clean, safe way to mass produce hydrogen. It must be nice to live in pasta joe land where you close your eyes, click your heels together 3 times, spin around and voila, you have inexpensive clean hydrogen powered cars with a full infrastructure.
  18. With regards to New Orleans, you cant simply "build the levees bigger" to make them cat-5 proof. The cost would be astronomically high and many other changes would need to be made (like reworking the canal drainage system). Remember too, the higher you raise the levees, the more force they must be able to withstand from the weight of the water. The best hurricane defense for new orleans is the rapidly receding wetlands in southern La. Rebuilding those will go much further towards better hurricane protection than simply raising the levees.
  19. Its the same situation here in florida. They are hard-up for teachers all over the state, and you can get hired at the drop of a hat.
  20. I completely agree with you. As obvious as it sounds, the most important part of the draft is getting talented players, regardless of playing position and/or draft position. Also, getting a franchise QB, no matter where in the draft or FA, goes a long way towards a given team's success.
  21. So? whats your point? That i misjudged the draft? Wow. That makes me exactly the same as everyone else who tries to prognosticate the draft. And if you ask anyone i was watching the draft with, when the Bills came on the clock, i wanted McKelvin. Prior to the draft, i wanted DRC. But hey, its not my fault you and AKC cant see the difference between "i want a WR at #11", and "i wouldnt have minded if the Bills take a WR at #11." In hindsight, it would have been a bad move due to the reasons you stated (although, pittsburgh said after the draft they would have taken Hardy in round 1 if mendenhall wasn't there) As for AKC's idiocy when it comes to math, i cant help him anymore. A dozen posters who work with stats on a daily basis show that his "study" was absolute garbage. He was proven wrong 2 months ago, proven wrong 1 months ago by OC in Philly, and still refuses to respond legitimate questions about his fuzzy use of numbers. I'm done with the argument.
  22. Lying by omitting the rest of someones post only makes you look like a bigger idiot than you already are. Here's the actual post. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1013955 Last time i checked, there were numerous WRs taken in rounds 1 and 2 combined. But, go ahead and continue with your idiotic crusade.
  23. The Texans, Chiefs, and Rams have all spent numerous high draft resources on the DL. They put a higher value on the DL. Following your asinine theory, they should be good. yet they arent. And again, you seem to have reading comprehension issues. I never said the Bills must or need to draft a WR at #11. I said that if they did, i would not be against it. BTW - the steelers have spent a 1st in 2006 and a 2nd in 2008 on WRs. The colts have also spent 2 firsts on WRs in the past 7-8 years. Yet somehow the Bills drafting Lee Evans and James Hardy in 2003 and 2008 makes us the detroit lions? Christ you're delusional.
  24. Kick ass. Mass produced hydrogen cars in 10 years. Now what about that pesky little minor detail about building an infrastructure to support all of our hydrogen powered vehicles?
