  1. i have 1 more season of freebies. This upcoming fall will be my last at FSU. Of course, my 5 years here were during some of the shittiest times, go figure. I think smokingandjokin ran into the same thing at USC. He left, and they tuned around. I cant be blamed for this however. Jeff Bowden was hired long before i got here in '03.
  2. Since there are so many movies and TV shows with "the president" in them, does each show or movie create their own oval office set, or is there a generic Warner Bros/Universal/etc oval office set that the film of TV show can book for their use?
  3. And then there are people who simply cannot grasp their little minds around the fact that the economic face of the game is changing. just because YOU don't think players should be paid X amount of dollars doesn't mean that the rest of the league doesn't. Players are making more now than ever, thanks to the last CBA. Dockery might be slightly overpaid, but not by a long stretch. Based on what other top guards are making and given the market, Dockery would have at least made 6 mil per season. I'd rather have the Bills pay a bit more to sign him than to not sign him at all. As for Langston Walker, his pay isn't that out of line at all. Plus, its not as if either of these guys are using up all of our cap space. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3465167 Regardless of who drafts a player, a good OL is gonna cost you between 6-10 million to keep.
  4. So tell me, why is it that the phins mediocre LB and backup DT and rookies are going to make them a force to be reckoned with, btu these same positions are going to do nothing for the bills? Thats the negative attitude that you tend to bring with 99% of your posts. As for the jets, 10-6 in 2006 was more of a fluke than 4-12 last season. I can go on about them as well. They lost Vilma. Why is calvin pace so great? He has had 1 good season out of 5 in arizona, and used it to cash in. He was widely considered a huge bust until his one good contract year. What makes him so great and Mitchell so bad? Oh thats right, mitchell was signed for the bills and pace was signed for another team. As for Damien Woody, he's bee relatively garbage since he went to detroit. He's started all of 13 games the past 2 seasons. He's a serious injury liability.
  5. Just because he misses camp time doesnt mean he isnt working out on his own. I highly doubt he's sitting on his ass naked in a beanbag chair eating cheetos. We're still waiting on a list of all the NFL teams with starting quality LT backups.
  6. Because we go through this every year with a variety of players. They are "upset" all offseason, may miss some training camp time, but are in the lineup on opening day. Players may be unhappy, but they arent unhappy enough to pass up a multi-million dollar payday and pay the fines on top of that. Peters wont miss any game time. I happen to think they both need to be extended, but if we could only do one this offseason, i'd extend evans because he's entering the final year. With peters, i stillt hink we need ot pay him, but we've got 3 years to do so.
  7. ask his sister and/or cousins. The places that you find whackos like him are usually the places where that type of thing is encouraged.
  8. No, but you're going to upset "Da Big Man." And turn him on.
  9. Perhaps your "local liberal elementary school" can teach your daughter some better grammar than they obviously taught you.
  10. I'll toss in my vote for the 2 above, and add in one of my own. Nancy Travis from the Bill Engvall show.
  11. One "down season" by sack # standards (lets just neglect the fact this was his by far his best season against the run) and he's overpaid and ovarrated, huh? http://www.nfl.com/players/aaronschobel/profile?id=SCH422487 Schobel averages essentially 10 sacks per season in his career. Yeah, that sure sucks. Why wasnt he overrated last season when he finished 3rd with 14 sacks?
  12. I dunno, schobel might know a thing or 2 about what the locker room and his teammates think about the situation.
  13. Thanks Lori, great info. I'm glad that the commish is speaking about the ridiculous rookie deals and something needs to get done. But i also dont buy his BS line about spygate. Someone should asked him where he got his sweeping skills from, because he's done his best to brush it and keep it under the rug.
  14. Happy Birthday Bill. Did Donte and Leodis send you a card?
  15. you know what the worst part of you being a complete scumbag and bigot is? That you are spreading your asinine bigoted beliefs to your 8 year old. Must be nice to know you are raising someone who is going to hate and be intolerant of anyone different than him.
  16. BradonWeck sounds like some type of perverse sex fetish.
  17. Not one for the chaise lounge, but you should see the legs on my barstools...
  18. Glad to see you're too preoccupied with tearing down each and every Bills player to even try and understand my opinion on vince young.
  19. Seconded.
  20. Obama does provide change you can believe in*. *Offer expires January 19, 2009
  21. well, down here in florida, you can buy beer, wine and champagne in the grocery store. But, you cannot buy a 40. You may buy any quantity of beer that you wish, but if you'd like to come in the 40oz bottle, you've gotta drive to georgia.
  22. Listen up then. He said the Bills are going to be a dominate team this season.
  23. We do. thats why the point is mute.
  24. Just found it and read it, and that article definitely got me jacked about the Bills season. This D coul;d be something great with him, whitner, stroud, schobel, McCargo on the rise, crowell, mitchell, McKelvin, McGee, McGreer.
  25. Agreed. I dont know if you saw any of it, but this year's CWS was definitely a thing to watch. There were a ton of great games, and Fresno's pitcher tossed an absolute gem last night. I hated that my 'noles bowed out in 2 games, but it was good seeing a true underdog win.
