  1. I'll get to that as soon as you answer why the Texans, Rams, and Chiefs havent had success even they have almost exclusively spent high picks along the DL. Because, i mean, drafting high DL means automatic success.
  2. Cant be Bledsoe...that would be puff, puff, pat, pat, pat, pass...
  3. Oh? and you have new evidence that Lynch was driving? Frank Clark would like to subpoena you. I suppose right now you are working on a new post about how drafting marshawn lynch somehow means that the Bills will not reach the super bowl until 2018. As for Johnson, wow, he has a friend that smokes weed. As long as Johnson isnt doing it, i dont see the problem. So maybe it was dumb. It isnt any dumber than the sh-- that goes on at your average college campus every weekend. And actually, while i have you here, we're all still awaiting your response to this post, where OC in Philly took you behind the woodshed. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1036876
  4. You're about 2-3 weeks too late. The anti-Lynch crusades were scheduled for May 31 to June 14, 2008. Sorry you missed the opportunity.
  5. http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/buff...ory/373679.html Does "not being involved" mean you win the bet, drane?
  6. Did you wax/polish them by hand? I've tried the automatic ball polisher at the alley before and it just didnt get the job done.
  7. Are you actually trying to have a discussion on this matter (if so, you would typically include your well thought out reasons about why you are against this), or are you simply going after Crist because he played a role in your boy guilani dropping out of the election.
  8. Did you seriously just try to suggest that i am a racist when it comes to QBs? Thats classless, but unfortunately expected from a vick-ball washing (i hope he didnt give you the herp) patsy* troll like yourself. You're an even bigger moron than i pegged you for. There are numerous QBs that are garbage QBs because they cant make the passes. Grossman for starters. boller. Aside from his 4-5 game tear at the end of last season, Eli manning. Mike Vick. Vince Young. The only difference was that vick and young have the amazing ability to make plays with their feet. However, this doesnt make them good QBs. It makes them good athletes who happen to play the QB position (poorly at that). These guys arent QBs who are going to take you anywhere. Sure, they'll make some highlight reel plays and win some games along the way, but in the long run, the franchise is going to constantly come up short. And 1 single injury to that limits their running ability is the end for these guys, because they cant make the passes. Sometimes, these types of QBs settle down, learn to stay in the pocket and make the throws with some accuracy, thus becoming good QBs. See: McNair, Steve, and McNabb, Donovan. Also see: Young, Steve. The jury is still out on Vince Young. If the titans get smart, and make Young learn to go through his progressions and learn to read a defense instead of the "one read and then take off" offense he currently runs, he could develop into a good QB. He's got the talent to do it. If not, he's going to end up another vick. A below average passer who can make plays with his feet. And the only "blind-homeristic defense" i have had for Losman was that we needed more than 1 full season of starts to see if he was the real deal. He looked in 2006, but unfortunately, he got jerked around in 2007 we never got the chance to see if he could do it or not. As for now Edwards is the QB of the Bills (you know, that team you love to trash on a daily basis), so Edwards is who i am behind and rooting for 100%. See, unlike you, i actually root for the team i claim to "like" and "be a fan of."
  9. Your blind homeristic love and defense for vick and his inability to resemble a real NFL QB is laughable. Hell, even after the guy has been convicted and jailed, you're still defending him and what he did.
  10. I'd argue that their showboating is no worse than the DE who celebrates like crazy after a sack, or the LB or DB who celebrates afetr a big tackle. As to why they seem to showboat more? I'd guess a lot of it is because WRs are always in the spotlight. They aren't like RBs, who grind it out on every play. When you see the ball in the hands of a good WR (like the ones you mention), lots of times they are picking up a good chunk of yardage, scoring a TD, getting a first down, etc. WRs usually dont grind it out for 2-3 yards per catch. Since the camera is focused on them when they get the ball, the guys mentioned feed off it and play to it. Some guys do, some dont (Marvin Harrison).
  11. Vick - 67 starts, 65 of which he knew he was the undisputed started and didnt need to look over his shoulder and worry about being benched due to an inept coaching staff. Losman, 31 starts, only 16 of which he didnt need to look over his shoulder. Theres a bit of a difference there. Even YOU should be able to see that. Vick was and always be a hell of an athlete, but he was a garbage QB. Vince Young is following the same path. I find it funny how you are the first to manufacture excuses for Vick about why he shouldnt be in prison, yet with Lynch, he's automatically guilty. It fits your typical trollish behavior of trashing and tearing down the Bills.
  12. Ahhh, havent seen you in your typical "vick defender" role in a long time. I suppose it was his coach's, WR's, and OC's fault that he is in prison for dogfighting, too?
  13. My girl's mom can get you a brand new fully loaded Nissan Pathfinder for waaaay below sticker price. They literally have like 50 miles on them. The cause of the price drop? They were used in a bank robbery and are considered "stolen." The thieves stole the cars from the dealer lot, drove 10 miles up the road, robbed the bank, and then ditched the vehicles about 10 miles further down the road. Police recovered them and returned them to the dealer, with essentially zero harm done to them.
  14. I dunno. Was levy the GM of the bears, who did this exact thing with briggs, or was he the GM of the pats* who did this exact thing with Samuel? Or perhaps levy was the GM of the Seahawks when they did this with Shaun Alexander.
  15. good post. i think it has more to do with the 24/7 media available everywhere. Every little thing that goes wrong is now out in front of the world to see. Before algore invented the intertubes, you were relying on basically the local paper and the news on TV, which wasnt going to cover much more than the local teams and the really big national stories.
  16. Chances are, Haynesworth will do whats become commonplace in the NFL. He'll threaten to sit out, and he and the titans will reach an agreement whereby he signs the franchise tender and the titans agree NOT to franchise him again next offseason.
  17. Marshawn drives the ugly truck?
  18. Absolutely priceless. A poster who has said that everyone in texas deserves to die lecturing someone else about karma.
  19. speaking of that, i wonder how Hardy's weekend was?
  20. Theres never any reason for NFL players to have guns. [/tards]
  21. Agreed. Everyone makes mistakes, especially kids in their early 20's. The biggest thing we can hope for (no matter who was driving) is that Marshawn gets a lesson learned and doesnt have any major !@#$ ups again.
  22. Actually, the "your my hero" is an absolutely brilliant finishing touch.
  23. Get well Millbank!
  24. Last week, Adam Schefter said that the commish's office was sitting on the sidelines until this was worked out by the law. Then he will decide what, if any, action to take.
