  1. Some attitude on this team would be nice. Too many overpaid idiots staying in their comfort zone.
  2. Good post. Tim tebag would not have done that to erin andrews. Lee Corso maybe or possibly kirk herbstreit, but no way does he do that to erin andrews.
  3. 1. His deep ball is horrific. Not the short and intermediate passes, but a few times a game, you need to take some shots 30+ yards down the field. Sure he can get the ball there, but the passes are often underthrown, forcing the WR to stop his pattern and come back to the ball. 2. He never throws the deep ball. He rarely throws any pass over 10 yards. Arm or not, you need to attempt those passes, if nothing more than to get the safeties off the line. Trent is hesitant at best and afraid at worst to throw anything other than a dumpoff/checkdown or a short pattern.
  4. Why? So the knumbknuts running the team can have him play 7 yards off the LOS with a 5 yard drop as his first movement at the snap?
  5. Sorry, we had one of the easiest SOS going into the season, based on the 2007 records. http://www.theredzone.org/strength.asp Jauron is a career loser, and one more season isn't going to change that. There's no point in continuity when you are working with crap. Better off to take chances on something that may be better than to stick with the worthless crap you've got just because the next thing might be worse. (to be honest, it can't get much worse. Even if a new coach went 6-10 next season, its better than what the Bills will go under jauron)
  6. Why do you need it repaired if you are only throwing 4 yard checkdowns to josh reed and dump offs to marshawn? The docs prolly told him hold off until it bothers him. And since he doesn't throw passes over 8 yards, it probably wasn't bothering him.
  7. Is coffman going to tear it up like Martin Rucker did this past season?
  8. Sure dick might be able to recognize what needs to change. But, someone of weak football character like himself wont actually DO anything to change it.
  9. Shoulder injury? Another side effect of his concussion.
  10. Overall, Leonhard is simply an average player. Not terrible, not great. But good teams know how to put their average players in positions where they have the best chance at success. The Bills...well...we're going to take the best damn players we can get, and then keep them on the bench in favor of jason webster, anthony thomas, robert royal, etc.
  11. Jim Leonhard would look nothing like how he looks in baltimore if he was still in buffalo.
  12. He's got a skill set that, given the proper coaching staff (read: NOT buffalo), could make him a valuable weapon in an offense. He'd be a very effective H-back who could run, catch, and always be a threat to throw on a gadget play. But as a straight up QB? Hell no.
  13. Good call rich. Too many people focus on what they perceive as Manning's failings in the offseason, when in fact, Harrison has a big tendency to disappear in the post season.
  14. kick ass. we can have an ass pirate QB that can't throw and who is going to get destroyed when he tries to run the ball. Keeping dick jauron pushed me close enough to the edge. Drafting tebag would be the straw that makes me burn all my bills stuff and throw my allegiances to another team completely.
  15. Refresh my memory again as to how your beloved patsies* did in the playoffs this season?
  16. Ron: Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean that really got out of hand fast! Brian: It jumped up a notch. Ron: It did, didn't it? Brick: Yea, I stabbed a man in the heart. Ron: I saw that! Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident? Brick: Yea, there were horses and a man on fire and I killed a guy with a trident. Ron: Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safe house or a relative close by because you're probably wanted for murder. Anchorman is friggin hilarious! A classic.
  17. I noticed that the QBs on playoff teams tend to throw downfield at least 3-5 times per game, even if it incomplete.
  18. I wouldn't call Johnson a "game manager" in the year the Buccs won the SB. He played in 13 games that season and threw 22 TDs vs only 6 picks, with another 5 TDs in the playoffs. Yes, tampa bay was known mainly for its defense, But Brad Johnson was a huge reason that the Buccs finally got over the hump that season. As GG said, theres a difference between a "game manager" like dilfer, and a decent QB who played lights out for 1 or 2 seasons (Rypien, etc)
  19. Whats that little line about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
  20. I am thankful for one thing. The retaining of dick jauron will make me savor and enjoy each and every bills win that much more next season, because there's gonna be about 3 of them.
  21. Idiots always love piss poor management, because they know they wont be held accountable for their idiocy. Hence the quotes from Kelsay and Preston.
  22. Good thing we didn't pass and have this happen. Things wrong with the play... 1. Why in the hell does an NFL coach NOT know what to do or call in that situation? 2. Why did they take so long to decide what to call? 3. With trent coming to the sidelines to get the play, either a)the coaching staff doesn't trust nor want him making a play call or b) Trent is afraid to/wont override the coaching staff, say "f you, if you can't decide, i wil,"l and call his own play. Lori is right. What happened during that stretch in the textbook definition of a cluster!@#$ and a good reason by itself to fire the coaching staff.
  23. John Madden just ordered copies of the MRI images along with kleenex and vaseline.
  24. I believe, and i could be wrong, that ralph owes the difference between any new deal and the old one. If dickie is owed $1 million next season, and picks up a DC or DB coaching job for 500K, then ralph only owes him 500K.
