  1. From the silver lining department, perhaps Stevie Johnson will get some looks at #2 WR. The kid's gonna be good. He could be the perfect compliment to lee evans. (disclaimer: that would be on a team that attempts passes over 4 yards long)
  2. Oh boy Bill, you;re in heaven, aren't you? The Bills lose a classic heartbreaker, and you get to dump all over JP. Early Christmas for Bill in NYC! Never mind that Peters completely whiffed in that play (something you've yet to address), or that 2 of JP's picks came in last gasp desperation with under 2 minutes to go. (the 1st pick was his fault, he threw it high) It must be nice living in your world where the Bills will be super bowl contenders next season because the backup QB will be gone. Blaming that game on him, like you;ve done, shows just how myopic your football vision really is.
  3. I never understood that either. The most important people in the food industry are the ones who prepare your food, and to a certain extent, the ones who clean the plates and glasses you are going to be eating with. Yet the lackey who brings you a plate 20 feet from the cook to your table gets the tips?
  4. Haynesworth signed the 1 year franchise tag tender, with certain plateaus that would inhibit the titans from tagging him again this season. He needed to hit 1 of them and has hit 2 or 3 of the 4 plateaus. The ball is in his court now whether or not he wants to re-up with the titans or hit the FA market.
  5. Maybe have your union intelligence analyst look at some of my info and my posts and figure it out. It'll only take 5 minutes, but you'll have to pay him for an hour's worth of work.
  6. Nope, just having fun watching your inability to put 2 and 2 together to figure out what i do.
  7. In the field i am in, you actually need to accomplish decent work to get rewarded at the end of it all. I dont want half the slackasses here earning the same things i do for not doing sh--, and i don't want to see the ability to tell them to leave removed from the bosses.
  8. nope, not shy at all. Many people on here know what i do. You'll figure it out someday. Or maybe get your local union "Google advisor" to do a search on it.
  9. No i'm not. My mom is a teacher and busted her ass going to night school to earn both her Bachelor's and Masters, while raising me and my bro. My dad was a union airline worker and hated it because he actually showed up and worked while half the guys on his shift sat around doing nothing all night. Both of them would have been fine without their unions. My parents taught me to work hard for what you want, not to sit back and enjoy the largely unearned benefits from union work.
  10. funny you ask that, because we aren't unionized here, but in the past month there has been a big push to unionize. I'm done and outta here in april, so it wont really concern me. My biggest concern about their attempts to unionize were that they stated that if the union passed, all of us would be subject to union rules, but only the paying members would get union benefits.
  11. Yup.i dont know sh-- about unions. I didn't have both parents work for a union or anything. And me, overpaid?
  12. Can't you do it during your union sponsored afternoon nap time? Or do union by-laws require you to stay on your mat for the entire hour? Or perhaps you dont have the time because it takes 45 minutes for you to contact the union "computer power operator" to turn your computer on, get the union "email correspondent" to check your email for you, and then get the union "firefox liaison" to open your browser.
  13. sniff around a bit, you'll figure it out.
  14. We start the fuggin season 5-1 and now we're down to "hoping we can finish the season .500?"
  15. I think the union guys would get paid double time for that, and triple time if its a nice day outside. Not to mention BoA wouldn't actually be able to hand the cash over themselves, they'd need a union liasion to collect the cash, 3 more to count it, and countless more to take it to GM.
  16. The average union worker cannot be paid what they are actually worth on the open market because this country has minimum wage laws.
  17. The real problem is that out of the Bills 13 playoff seasons in 39 years, 8 of them came in a 9 year span from 1988-1996. That means that aside from the Kelly-thurman-bruce years, we've only made the playoff 5 times in the other 30 years, or roughly 16%.
  18. Unions are an old tired idea. They had their worth a long time ago, but their time has come and gone. Now, unions are for lazy unskilled workers who don't want to be called out on their bull sh--. God forbid some of these lazy ass union guys making 100K to sweep the floor actually have to get off their ass and work for once in their life.
  19. BM's right. The buyout was upped to $5 mil. Word around Tally is that Jimbo won't jump ship, but will use any potential offer to up his leverage here at FSU for the upcoming season. Basically he's get FSU to give him full control over over the coaching staff (defense especially), with DC mickey andrews being untouchable. Him and Amato can't stand each other, so amato will likely be gone, and Jimbo would probably bring in someone as "LB coach" for a season with the intention of promoting to DC when mickey retires after next season. Next season will likely be a "farewell tour" for both Bobby and Mickey.
  20. I'm not saying to ignore the position, because he is getting up there in age, and he could easily slide farther or get back to close to where he used to be. However, with regards to the DE, the DE being replaced immediately needs to be which ever of our 2 headed high-motor monster we decide to start opposite schobel. With any luck, perhaps Ellis will develop to take over schobel's spot in a few years.
  21. Schobel averages over 10 sacks per season in his first 6 years. Even with last's years 6.5 sacks, he averaged almost 10 sacks per season prior to this year. But you're right. Schobel can't get to the QB, and 10 sack per year guys are easy to find/replace.
  22. Best part of the chargers collapse? They were lead to 9 straight losses and a 5-11 season by Dwarf "all he does is win" Flutie.
  23. So do you and the 8 roomies have a set schedule on "personal pleasure" time, or do you just do it when you're sleeping next to them on the floor?
  24. I hear ya. Trent played so phenomenal in the first half of the 49ers game.
  25. Offhand, 2007 Lions started 6-3 and finished 7-9 2002 Chargers started 6-1 and finished 8-8 2001 Chargers started 5-2 and finished 5-11
