Yeah Dean, it would really suck to have a coach with a .613 career winning percentage who has made the playoffs in 13 of his 20 seasons. An average of 10 wins per year really sucks. Understood. My biggest problem is not Lynch's suspension, but Lynch's suspension compared to the previous precedent. Brandon Marshall beats women. For some reason, roger decides that 3 games is too harsh for that. I mean, hey, after all, they're only women, right? So Marshall continues to beat women this offseason, getting in an altercation. Common sense says Marshall is on "borrowed time" and should be suspended. But no, nothing. Whats the theme here? Marshall is a player with star power and high marketability. If Donte Stallworth was still on the pats* instead of the browns, he'd be suiting up for the monday nighter in 11 days.

So according to Goodell, Carrying a gun in a locked box (3 games) is worse than killing dogs and running an illegal gambling operation (2 games), which is worse than beating women(1 game). Nice consistency. Way to show what behavior is acceptable.

I fail to see how this benefits the Bills. Lets say on a scale of 1(brady) - 10(bledsoe), leftwich magnifies any given pass rush by 8 times. Running the math i get... Bills pass rush x Leftwich factor = benefit. Therefore, 0 x 8 = 0 I see no benefit from playing leftwich.

Nothing major has come out and been said, there have been just little hints, like Edwards again mentioning how the team wasn't prepared for the 3-4 defenses and such. It might be nothing. But sometimes the little comments here and there begin to add up.

Sure. Let's just ignore the fact that Marshall has been accused of beating women at leas half a dozen times. Let's also ignore the fact that Goodell has been on record saying that the league's suspension policy happens regardless of a conviction or not. So beating women = OK according to goodell. Is more of the BS where a "star" player gets preferential treatment, while Goodell "lowers the hammer" on less marketable players.

Wouldn't exactly be a shocker. We've already heard grumblings and insinuations that some players aren't happy with the failure of the coaching staff to put them in positions to succeed.

So is making 3rd down stops something that the defense can just turn "on" during the regular season? A low YPC against doesnt mean much when your starters have given up 41 points in the last 2 games they've played in.

Gameplan for ne* game: Unveil "new offense" by taking the opening drive down to the pats* 8 yard line. On 3rd and goal, run into the middle of the line so we "don't commit a mistake" trying for the endzone. Kick FG to take a 3-0 lead. Watch Bill belicheat* systematically dismantle the offense and defense over the next 3 quarters, using our first drive as a template, since jauron cannot/will not make adjustments. Fall behind 41-3 while gaining 62 total yards of offense. Score TD with 4 minutes left in the game to make it "respectable." Lose 41-10. I swear, when i see belicheat* vs. jauron, it reminds me of Red Beaulieu coaching against Coach Klein in "The Waterboy." Hell, dick jauron even looks like henry winkler.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a bomb as they play CALL, but at that point its up to Trentative to have enough sack to actually attempt a pass down the field.

I'm not sure which was more outstanding. Wood getting blown back into Edwards by Hampton, or Hangartner getting blown back into Edwards by Hampton. Or perhaps Butler getting blown back into Edwards by Harrison. Of course, it doesnt help when Edwards is sailing every pass over the heads of his WRs, or throwing it right into awaiting defenders hands. I guess i should give Edwards some credit however. He DID attempt to complete multiple passes to WRs and didnt just settle for 15 checkdowns.

Good read. It still baffles me that it took our Bills backers down here in tallahassee 3 years to find a good bar. So many places completely unwilling to reserve a TV to show the Bills game and basically turning down 4 months of 8-12 people coming in every sunday. We finally got set up at a Beef O'Brady's. I'm with the side that says try to keep kids out of the sports bar. There's no place for them. Beef's is populated mostly with NFL fans on sunday, but you'll occasionally get families coming in trying to enjoy a post-church lunch. They usually leave when the language gets a bit rough. (Not that we're foul-mouth idiots, but hey, the Bills have had a recent tendency to bring out the worst in some people)
