  1. The singular pursuit of excellence.
  2. It’s not just McD. I keep looking for ANY sign of accountability in either of Pegula’s sports franchises and I haven’t seen a single one since Kim’s unfortunate health issue. Seems like the Bills and Sabres are both flying on autopilot.
  3. The Bills don’t have a #1 front office.
  4. And did Allen really show growth under Brady?
  5. McBeane have a weird tendency to make decisions based on what appears to be a best-case scenario way of thinking. My concern is that Brady would be another of their “hope for the best” maneuvers, most of which have not panned out. I am not against it but I would want them to hedge by adding some experienced voices to the mix, even beyond what they’ve already got in Boras and Kromer.
  6. Supposedly he has a really cool house. Not sure if it’s in those pictures or not, I can’t seem to see it.
  7. The Bills head into every playoff game at a coaching disadvantage. Not to say they can’t overcome it with talent, but so far they haven’t. There is no salary cap on coaches. I would 100% be in favor of this if there were sufficient checks on the scouting side (he sucks at it).
  8. But this one is in an Italian accent!
  9. The world needed this.
  10. And I’m including the pro personnel side as well. Sherfield, Harty, Isabella this year. Before that you’ve got Sanders’ corpse, Brown’s corpse, Beasley’s corpse, Crowder. I mean wtf are these evaluators looking at?
  11. You’ve got units where players clearly improved and developed and became better versions of themselves: linebackers on defense, running backs and tight ends and maybe the o-line on offense. Then you’ve got units where players obviously stagnated or got worse: d-line (except Oliver) on defense, wide receivers on offense. Then there are units with mixed results - secondary (no young safeties have developed, Elam has not developed), possibly QB. Lastly you’ve got units where, across the board, nearly everything and everyone underperformed: special teams. I would move on from Smiley, Washington and Henry, but McD might want to keep them around as weight to toss overboard if things start to go south next season.
  12. Honestly I’m not sure I trust this staff to scout wide receivers.
  13. The crazy thing is that last year’s playoffs and this year’s playoffs were almost the same: have a tougher time at home than they should’ve against a third-string QB, then the D gets totally steamrolled the following week, again at home. Someone’s “process” might be flawed…
  14. Especially the morons talking about trading Allen and saying he’s not a leader - I mean when you see that stuff it really makes you question human intelligence and awareness.
  15. I don't think they were going for it until they realized KC had 10 men on the field. I could be wrong, but that's what I understood.
  16. Brady never adjusted to the run blitzes in the second half. They kept running Cook into the teeth of the blitz.
  17. The call was fine but it was clear they hadn't practiced that play very often. Smiley should not be employed by an NFL team.
  18. I agree with the premise but you must not watch other teams play too often.
  19. Odd because I literally saw him create at least two pressures.
  20. Anyone else positive Bass would’ve missed the XP if they scored the TD there?
  21. Totally agree. Plus Diggs was running to the side of the field Jones was rushing from - not as easy a throw as it looked. Plus Diggs wasn’t playing as though he was engaged - who knows what happens with a pass in his direction. Plus there is an alternative reality where Shakir scores and then Bass misses the XP and the Chiefs go down and tie it…
  22. Terry Pegula is not firing Sean McDermott. There is just zero chance of it happening this offseason so there is almost zero utility of debating whether it should or shouldn’t happen. It won’t happen.
  23. If Gabe had played Josh would’ve thrown two INTs.
