So it’s not the systems - we just need four new linemen, a new QB, another WR, a backup running back, two pass rushers, two new defensive tackles, all new linebackers and a better punter.

Some of us have had our hats fully tipped for two decades. Do you realize how difficult the NFL has made it to suck this consistently?

No, but possibly the most clueless owners in professional sports.

The coach and GM seem to have trouble identifying talent and understanding which schemes make sense in today’s NFL. THAT to me is the biggest concern.

So was Beane lying to the fans when he said otherwise right after the Sammy trade? Equally important, did Beane lie to Pegula? Does Terry think they were sacrificing wins this season? I’m not so sure. Beane is definitely on the hot seat as of Jan. 1.

I’m ok with firing Dennison, benching Tyrod, and telling Beane he has one offseason to fix the mess he created.

Season over. Might want to try fielding talent next year.

Tyrod tried throwing downfield a couple of times on the first drive, missed badly, and now seems content to toss checkdowns for the rest of the game. I’m a Tyrod fan but he is playing himself out of a job today.

This is a bigger deal than it may seem. What Jerry is doing could threaten the entire system - parity, the salary cap, etc. I wonder if this is just his first salvo with an eye toward all of that. He probably resents that he just gets one vote despite a larger market share. I’m very curious to see how this plays out, especially with the collective bargaining agreement coming up for renegotiation. And I can’t help but keep thinking about Mark Cuban’s “pigs get slaughtered” comment. The NFL as we know it may be coming to an end soon...

Donahoe got rid of Pat Williams and Ralph was wise enough to quiz him about “how are we going to stop the run?” Tommy D gave his boss his typical arrogant answer and it came back to bite him when they got gashed repeatedly the next season, Tim Anderson wasn’t cutting it and Donahoe lost his job. Or something like that happened.
