This game reminded YE OLE of a time at work some years ago. One of YE's colleagues, Randy, had been nicknamed "Randazzle" by one of the big wigs. So one day YE is standing at the urinal in the men's room and Randazzle bursts through the door. He exclaims "Head for the hills, YE OLE! I'm about to blow it up!" Needless to say, Randazzle slammed the door to the stall and made good on his warning. Last night, both teams were Randazzle.

Clearly this guy was going down, but interesting note about "failure to understand his role as UNC" Could that leave the door open to there being some discrepancy over the power the UNC has in making the call? Was there some type of disagreement between the UNC and team docs? That's where things will get interesting if the details ever actually come out.

It truly sucks that we lost this one… their punter cranking one right into his personal protector’s derrière for the safety was one of those moments that could’ve lived on in the annals of history.

It’s really deflating losing Micah for the year. YE OLE has a hunch that this Jaquan fellow might be a star though.

It's very hard to believe that the NFL was made aware of this prior to the draft. I have been as much a fan of Araiza's as anyone and the way he punts the ball is extremely entertaining, but I don't believe an NFL team would've drafted him at all with this going on.

The team hasn’t punted much at all the last couple of years (just under 3 punts per game on average). They have especially been more aggressive of late around mid field. Worst case, if Araiza boots it into the end zone once or twice per game, we lose maybe 10 yards of field position. That’s not too consequential if the trade off is he can uncork an 80 yarder once in a while and truly flip the field if we find ourselves in a bad spot.

Nate isn’t terrible IMHO, but he has a way of asking a question and then spending the next 5 minutes answering said question himself before letting the person respond.

Beerball, my good friend, how goes it? YE OLE concurs on THE HODGINS WATCH. Word on the street is, he has looked pretty good so far in camp. YE is also interested in seeing this Benford fellow everyone is talking about. It sounds like he will get some play against Matty Ice and the first stringers today.
