  1. On one hand - super cool to bring all 3 back. On the other - Beane said at the year end press conference that "this is not a Super Bowl Championship team yet". Using pretty much all of the cap to keep things the same instead of making improvements - it's hard to picture us taking that next step in overcoming KC in the AFC. Especially picking 30th each Round.
  2. Yes, we aren't completely broke. But at 7.65 under, draft picks, and RFA's like Wallace, Bojorquez, and Boettger to sign - you're probably not fitting Feliciano in unless, like you said, he does more restructures. Which I'm not counting on until it happens. Just because something makes sense to us doesn't mean it's going to happen. See: Trent Murphy last season
  3. Feliciano's a great Guard. But you pay your Right Tackle before you pay a Guard. And you pay your best Linebacker before you pay a Guard. And then you run out of money and the Guard is the odd man out. Sucks - but that's business.
  4. I agree. Unless some other moves are made, Milano and Williams will be our biggest splashes in FA.
  5. This has to be the number before the Milano and Williams deals, right? Slightly confusing because he lists others as the number before certain deals, but not us. Assuming this is the number after all the restructures before subtracting the cap hits of Milano (8 mil per spotrac) and Williams (6.15 per spotrac) - it looks like we're probably actually sitting at 7.65 under.
  6. As a Rochesterian, there's nothing I'd like more than for Training Camp to happen at Fisher. And I expect a little more normalcy this season. But I don't see the league opening training camp to the general public as even a remote possibility. Even if they do, I imagine it would be extremely limited and requiring tickets that will go to sponsors and the like from the VIP tents.
  7. I voted for Make an Offer but don't get into a bidding war. I was thinking that maybe instead of making offers to McKenzie as WR4 and Roberts as KR - we make an offer to Cordarralle Patterson to be both. Probably a crazy idea, but just a thought.
  8. Two problems with @appoo's plan. First, we don't have Kenny Stills under a futures contract like Kumerow and Duke. We'd have to re-sign him. Second, Addison took a paycut to stay. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he's released after Training Camp after everything's said and done (like Murphy should have been). But if he were to be cut before then - they wouldn't have restructured him today.
  9. Real nice. I valued his re-signing over Milano and Feliciano, tbh.
  10. Cole Beasley? I'm not opposed to drafting a WR mid rounds. But we don't need to spend our 2nd Rounder on one to hop Gabe Davis on the depth chart. Diggs, Davis, Beasley should be our starting lineup. If you want to get someone to replace Isaiah McKenzie, cool. But not a 2nd and certainly not for someone to move above Davis.
  11. If the reported Hughes restructure happens (on top of cutting Jefferson and restructuring Butler) - I could see Addison staying on (especially if he restructures also). I have this sinking feeling he's safer than most fans think he is. To me, it would be far less surprising for him to stick around then it was when we held on to Trent Murphy. And I don't think they'd move him until they were sure they had an upgrade in place opposite Hughes.
  12. I think this would be another Addison like signing. We need somebody like Barrett, Lawson, Ngakoue, or Miller (if he becomes available). Someone who will step in and be an unquestioned immediate upgrade. Okwara *could* be that guy. But I don't think he's getting the locker room, the fans, or the media all that inspired - if that's the move.
  13. This doesn't make much sense to me. All of those re-structure examples (including Diggs - who they quietly did some maintenance on his deal after being traded) have come on deals done within the year. Kind of a hard sell to come right back to those guys, don't you think? Guys like Hughes and Morse make way more sense for a restructure.
  14. I mean - it's possible. But if that happens, they're not re-signing Mongo too.
  15. That's fine. I'd have rather had Yannick Ngakoue, Von Miller, or Jadeveon Clowney anyways.
  16. Good rule of thumb with this Watt stuff is if *anyone* says *anything* about him - it's probably been posted in here immediately 😝 But to the crux of the report, I'll say this: if JJ Watt really was getting 15-16 million offers from a contending team he's interested in signing with - he'd have signed already. I don't doubt there are teams who aren't in contention yet have a lot of cap space that are throwing out crazy numbers trying to get him to sign with them instead. And I don't doubt he'd like the teams he's really interested in to match those crazy offers. And that's why that report exists.
  17. Feel like we've reached the point in the show where a number of fans go from "OMG I want (insert Free Agent here) on the Bills SO bad F5 F5 F5 F5" to "I'm over this waiting game and I don't care if we sign him anymore".
  18. If you're of the mind to think a.) the mitochondria tweet has *anything* to do with the team he's signing with and b.) that it's a reference to Buffalo - I wouldn't Google 'UMDF Pittsburgh' if I were you...
  19. I feel like the original Mario Williams Panda Watch thread empowered TSW posters to bombard every thread like it since with nonsensical garbage bc "ground up and in the freezer" was "legendary". Every time I think "hey, there's been a lot of activity on this since I last looked maybe something has happened" I've signed on to pages of discussion about bleu cheese on steak.
  20. I'm finding very little about him demanding to be paid the same as he was in Houston. Just some rumors. Even if he is - what do you think his people are going to put out there? "Money's not important"? Just because that's what he sets his price tag at doesn't mean that's what he's gonna get.
  21. I would. You'd better believe the NFL is going to be able to vaccine all concerned players before September. And at his age, two years out of football at that position and a team would be hard pressed relying on him for anything more than a rotational piece. As for the holes it would create cutting Butler and Jefferson - Star WILL be back. Then you have Phillips, Zimmer, Practice Squad guys, draft, vet minimum guys before the season; lots of options. If we're talking a hole at 3rd or 4th DT in exchange for us getting JJ Watt - it's a no brainier.
  22. This. I'm waiting for something further than "the Bills called" before I get excited. For all we know the call could have just been "You want how much? Okay, cool, nice talking to you".
  23. I gotta be honest, I'm pulling for Brady. What's another Brady Super Bowl victory in the grand scheme of things? Compared to what it would mean to Mahomes and what it would do for his career to repeat - it's nothing. Another ring as the train comes closer to a stop. I'm rooting for Brady in large part because I don't want Mahomes to become the new Brady. That and it would be slightly painful to realize had we beat the Chiefs - we'd have been Super Bowl champions.
  24. Coming into this year, I felt Milano was a candidate for extension if he had a great season and stayed healthy. Instead he was dinged up more than both years prior and in the Playoffs, his skills as a cover guy on TE's were non-existent. Considering the upgrades we need to make and the amount of key contributors that are FA's, I was kinda against re-signing him to begin with. Top Dollar? Hahahahahahahahahahaha
