  1. You are right. I love puns. What are we up to now? A hundred Dick topics? A fellow posts about a player acquisition - something to be kicked over, discussed - and it drops like a rock. Aya Carumba!
  2. Slap. Slap. Slap-slap-slap. You think this is a time for puns?
  3. I always wanted Shanahan and Jauron compete in a contest to see who would blink their eyelids first.
  4. ...Who was probably tidying up the lawn for winter when he got a phone call. http://www.nfl.com/players/joeklopfenstein...le?id=KLO131680 33 receptions in 37 starts. Stop the presses, salvation is just around the corner...
  5. I understand how a poor offense hurts, but I don't think the D - even when fresh - ranks very high in forcing the opposing offenses into 3-and-outs. I'm on the sidelines re Fewell. Either he approves of this lightweight defense and the so-called bend don't break thing, or he hasn't been able to persuade the powers that be to get normal-sized NFL LBs and to not buy into the position switches. Dunno...
  6. They have a lot of company... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/injuries/pup Click over for this week's team-by-team practice status.
  7. More D.C. stuff, compliments of TMQ: ..."The bad: TMQ praised Washington, D.C., Mayor Adrian Fenty a while back for driving himself around the city without chauffeur or security detail. That's what Fenty claimed to be doing, at least, in a spring 2009 news conference, and born yesterday, I believed him. Steve Chaggaris notes that actually, Fenty has been having police close entire roads when he goes bike riding; worse, the D.C. police has spent $364,748 on travel expenses for Fenty's security detail over the past three years. That's just travel expenses -- the bodyguards' pay and benefits are extra, all money wasted to make the mayor feel powerful, rather than invested in reducing the city's violent crime. Why does a mayor need to travel with taxpayer-funded security when he goes to Denver to attend the Democratic National Convention? Which not only is a partisan political event, but an event surrounded by security to begin with. Don't think, "I don't live in D.C., so it's not my taxes being wasted." The District of Columbia is heavily subsidized by the federal government -- your children are being saddled with debt so the mayor of D.C. can have bodyguards part his path. American politics seems to have reached the point at which it is assumed to be normal for public officials to waste tax money on their own egos. And we wonder why there is a $12 trillion national debt."... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...mp;sportCat=nfl

  11. What a petty, childish post...
  12. Another swarm should find it's way to that Last Post Wins! thread.
  13. The ex-OSU HC who is a shill hired by CIN years ago?
  14. Dunno. But I'm sure JAX is rubbing their foreparts like a fly over a newly-discovered fresh pile of wet dog plop, facing a team with a mid-season regime change.
  15. I'd like the money! And the Bills should raid the B'gals PS for a '09 drafted player named Jason Shirley, from Fresno State. A DT, who played G during the preseason.
  16. Odd as it may seem, I'd be working out McCargo there in practice.
  17. The heads of the JAX staff must be spinning...
  18. A backfield blocker? Don't play with us...
  19. No use clicking the ruby slippers, then?
  20. Put the tot on Ignore/PM block like I did, nucci. He hates.
  21. You are absolved, Peter.
