  1. He should state that he's coming out of the closet. That way, he goes beyond equal rights and attains special rights, and can never be cut.
  2. Got it. Never heard of shingles curling on a young roof, ventilation or not. I'd guess it was a hack job with poor materials, there...
  3. Why would they cut anybody? You can only have - what is it? - 45 active players on game day...
  4. Not sure what a ridge vent has to do with curling shingles...?
  5. Yep. IMO, they really should get him on the field for more plays. He's not a rookie OL where they have to worry about a QB getting killed. He was a questionable pick in most folk's minds, IMO. It's doubtful that BUF is making it into the playoffs. So they should do that - get him the playing time and see if he was worth it this year. If not, try him again next season.
  6. John - he is getting one credited tackle per game. One. I realize he isn't playing a lot, but there's an expectation that a 1st round DE pick gets playing time. It's not as if the Bills' DE starters are setting the league on fire...and from what I've read from posters here who see him when he's on the field, he's easily tossed aside. I'm beginning to think that they know they might have made a mistake. That happens - I've lived in Cincy since 1990. I'd like to see them play him more, have him face the real competition for an extended period. See if he has promise. How can that hurt?
  7. http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/ It turned out to be a pretty good game, though...eh?
  8. Were paragraphs on the menu? They are delicious, and aid the digestion. Sorry...
  9. If some NFL team hired me to be head coach, I'd like to be bought ought out after one season. Then I'd be posting from Singapore or Hong Kong.
  10. No surprise. He's been a poor performer recently, has a lot of miles on him, and cried like an infant about his contract a while back. I'm surprised he's even on their roster this season...I guess he has some cap cost that kept him on the roster - dunno.
  11. That's nothing. I heard that John Wayne could drive with no front tires.
  12. Some folks have genetic pre-depositions for obesity, as well as diabetes, cancers, cardiovascular disease, and on and on. I know you disagree. Ill add this, however: You can take your food stamp card, go to a convenience store, and walk out with a dozen donuts, a 32 oz. soda, candy bars, a big bag of chips, etc. But you cannot use it for personal hygiene products like toothpaste or toilet paper. Government policy.
  13. You're installing a ridge vent, I trust...
  14. Thank you. I was following the game on CBS's Game Tracker. In the chat panel, some were referring to the 'niner's qb as Alexendra Smith.
  15. Awaiting your impressions, Mark. 34-20 TEN, as I type.
  16. 5 picks for Stafford, in the loss. Oh well...rookie.
  17. Here's what we need!!!
  18. BAL@CIN. CIN up 14-0 late in the 1st. BAL has only garnered 5 yards' offense and 1:48 TOP so far.
  19. What makes you think that everybody is just dying to communicate with you?
  20. I have a .44 Special revolver. I have no need to work out, other than walking 2 or 3 miles per day.
  21. Dinko is not afraid of taking a hit, and he's had many laid on him. That's been throughout his career. Nice to see he's out of his two year-long pout - he wised up (he has substantial "baby momma" expenses - reliably forks over the child support $, has never been a civil problem child - doesn't drink, doesn't caberet) and realized finally that he wasn't going to force noted skinflint owner Brown into eating a contract and getting a trade. Palmer's a gentlemanly sort - I think some other QB would have knocked his teeth into the cheap seats for his lousy route running and short-arming snit the past 2 seasons. He's recently decided to take up boxing, btw.
  22. Stylists? Girlies? Moi? Here's a view of my current countenance, if you add in a bit of Moms Mabley, Marty Feldman, and Quasimoto... WHAT hump?!!? And "Good night, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are..."
  23. I believe in brevity. We've been chatting for years, todd. Wouldn't a simple "FY, and the horse your rode in on!" suffice?
  24. Gutsy stance...
