Bird 1: Multibillion dollar particle collider 0
stuckincincy replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I had one die with an arcing flourish last month. The GFCI popped (I have more of those in my abode than Carter's fabled Little Liver Pills - historical reference to a saying long dead). Two, possibly three years has settled in as the useful life. And I have a peeve... It is the stylists, on my replacement, that decreed that black control panels with white lettering is "so-this-week". Bunk. They are more difficult to interpret. I also purchased a new microwave - same thing. Little white characters on a black background are inferior to little black characters on a white background. I dislike stylists. If you viewed a picture of me, and my hair, you would see the verity of my statement. -
Thanks for the reply, esp. the game breakdowns. Looks like he's shaping up as the real deal. With hope, he'll become one of those coveted "difference makers."

Yes - but add in "not bothering to go out and getting informed". That is vital to the Left - trust us, don't seek for yourself - trust us...blame others...trust us...vote for us.... etc. The indoctrination over the past three decades has succeeded. These dumb lambs have no idea what is going to hit them. Sad.... -
I'll chime in. I've seen maybe 4 TE games in total - I don't have any of the premium pay services or a dish. However, the 1st two games this season were on my tv. I read his eyeballs as clear as one of those McD tray placemats that kids color on. Ten minutes in, I find myself wondering... why this guy is staring hard at one receiver? I'll also add I crabbed about in several posts, about that crap that DC Fewell pulled against TB, his non-stop blitzing in a done game, specifically Mitchell's obvious shot to Leftwichs' throat - and said it would come back to haunt. It did. Folks blame conditioning for all the D injuries - I blame Fewell for making them marked men. Every player watches films and knows intent to injure.

Stick around... No surprise. The recent increased deaths in Afganistan, the Pakistan insurgence, the recent bombings in Iraq. Your Saviour Obama is being tested, and they have clearly learned that he is afraid and won't defend our citizenry, same as Clinton. Stay tuned, it's just begun. They know an appeaser, a Neville Chamberlain, when they see one and know how to take advantage.... -
If I had a minimum of 185K reliable, zero-risk annual income forever with 18.5 mill in reserve, my career is over and done with. Why would I risk having my bones, connective tissues, or worse, torn up and make me a cripple? I would be happy to show up every year for one of those "Buy those season tix, fans!" promo campaigns, though, and walk around town spreading that gospel - comped, of course.

Fine choice. The best, of course. Here's one of E.B White's famous essays..."Farewell My Lovely". White was a remarkable writer of prose - his words flowed into the mind like warm honey. If you are a fan of our language, and I believe you are, Nanker, you will enjoy the following: http://www.wesjones.com/white1.htm "...Persons of a suspicious or pugnacious turn of mind bought a rear-view mirror; but most Model T owners weren't worried by what was coming from behind because they would soon enough see it out in front. They rode in a state of cheerful catalepsy."...

His contract provides 18.5 million, guaranteed. If he gets 1% on that with no compounding, with no touching of the principle - ever - he gets $185,000 annual pre-tax income. I'd kick up my heels, get a hammock and enjoy...my career would consist of a heated/cooled house, a stocked icebox, a decent ride, and the more that adequate jingle in my pocket to travel and caberet. What a great life!

Stick around... Let's wait and see if the notable black racists, Jackson and Sharpton, decide they can make some money by claiming how the authorities didn't follow these disappearances because they were black. They certainly have time on their hands - forbid the thought if they ever dared speak out about the astounding rates of overall black crime, black-on-black crime. If they did, they would be busy indeed. Last I saw, less that 5% of the US population - black males - commit 40% of the nationwide murders. Of course, pointing that out brands me as a racist by some posters here, and the state-controlled media and the Dems, and their so-called liberals, would see me pilloried, silenced, have me charged with hate speech and incarcerate me into a gulag. If Al and Jessie etc. discover an opportunity to cash in, be assured that soon after, NBC-ABC-CBS-MSNBC-CNN will give them air time as well as wring their hands in teary concurrence. Those bad whites! Bad, bad whites! More of other people's money is needed! Stop the oppression! Bank on it, if Al and Jessie jump in...I've seen it go down so many times before... -
Very nice! Myself, recently, I stick with Intel retail MoBos' and processors. AMD is fine - I've built several boxes through the years with their processors. Very satisfactory. But for my current situation, I have to factor in Intel's combined MoBo/CPU support capabilities.

Pry away CIN's arch idiot OC Bob Bratkowski - please. His play calls are as predictable as tomorrow's sunrise. -

Thanks! That's the info I was seeking.

Yep. We'll have to see how it goes, now that teams have some game film on him. CIN's #2 pick Maualuga started out strong, but has tapered off the past few games. Still - 7 picks...impressive. I noticed in the stats in the HOU game, he had 2 solo tackles and 3 assists, and Wilson with 7 tackles and 8 assists. I haven't seen Byrd play - is he jumping routes, is he leaving coverage to hawk the ball? How does he look in run defense?
