Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
PromoTheRobot replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think most of those tickets were sold at the start of the year because why not go to Florida in January? Then there's the Bills fans already living down south. -

When Dubai gets their NFL franchise, that stadium will be a palace, literally. -

I had a flight like that into Syracuse a while back. The plane was pointing a bit sideways on the approach due to crosswinds. -

Especially not in WNY. Nashville's new dome is what? $2.1B? -
My thought is this thread gets moved to PPP or gets locked real soon.

Bills one of the more popular teams in all sports

No one cares about MLS, that's for sure. It's a 4th-tier bush league. People would rather watch EPL. -

They beat Columbus in OT 3-2. The Sabres problem is consistency. They give up 9 goals one night. The next they hang 9 on the Maple Leafs (which is awesome!) -
USFL-XFL merge; become UFL w/USFL and XFL divisions
PromoTheRobot replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
They made the USFL finals in 2022 but lost to the Birmingham Stallions. The Stars were the only franchise to play in all 4 USFL title games. (2-2) But they did not make the playoffs in 2023. And sadly they did not survive the merger this season. If the UFL makes it they may revive the Stars in the future. Actually these spring football games drew ratings that matched or beat basketball, hockey and baseball. And the level of play wasn't as bad as you make it out to be. The playbooks were more basic because teams are put together quickly, but they had the same number of good or bad games as any other league. -

The NFL will not put a nickel into it. But TV networks want spring programming and casinos want more football to bet on. The best chance for it to succeed is now. -

This is a bit of an exaggeration. The odd broken cupholder and floor crack doesn't mean KBC is crumbling. I was just at the game Saturday. Fancy things cost more. But we complain about costs. Where is the balance? -

At least undrafted players and cuts get the chance to keep playing. Last year the were 102 spring players invited to NFL camps so the pipeline is established. -

Just remember we live in a time where what's true is getting harder to know, and that's by design. No area is exempt. -
Maybe it's because there's an entire TV commercial campaign based on that notion.

If the NFL is scripted, the Bills win the Super Bowl this year or next because Jerry Jones' marketing company Legends has to sell all those PSLs in Buffalo.

Bills one of the more popular teams in all sports (from the Buffalo News) The stadium’s unfavorable rankings have not diminished the popularity of the team that plays inside it. A pair of studies have shown the Bills are one of the most popular franchises in all professional sports. The Bills are the third most popular sports franchise in America, with an average monthly search volume of 3,842,750, according to research from iGaming reviewer Lucky Gambler, which analyzed search volume data from Google Keyword Planner in this calendar year. The Bills were the most searched team in New York, amassing 1.14 million of their average monthly searches in the state alone. The Bills are also the second most popular team in the NFL for 2023. With an average monthly search volume of 7.2 million, the Cowboys are the most popular sports team in America this calendar year. In addition, the study also found that football is the most popular sport in the country, having amassed an average monthly search volume of 57.5 million – that’s more than 21 million higher than the next most popular sport, baseball. Also, the Bills were ranked fifth for the sports franchise with the most searched branding, with an average of 21,360 combined monthly searches, according to web design company Digital Silk, which analyzed search data for more than 200 of the world’s largest brands by combining each name with the terms "logo," "brand" and "branding." The study revealed that the Cowboys have the most searched branding for a sports team in America, with an average of 30,426 monthly searches.
