When Harrison Phillips was lost I wondered if Kyle would consider a late season return to the Bills? Especially if the Bills are making a playoff push. He certainly hangs out at OBD enough. Is he using some of the workout great to stay in game shape?
Don't worry, Tom. You play the Bills at home next time. I'm sure the Bills headsets will mysteriously cut out, among other odd things that always happen at Gillette.
The OPI was one of those calls you knew would never go against the Pats, but McDermott can't win because he gets crap for making challenges, but also crap for not making them.
Because I had to be able to get out of Dodge quickly after the game. If I parked at Hammer's I'd be stuck in traffic longer. There's a lot on Southwestern that you can get of out fast. But I'm in for the Eagles and will park at Hammer's that game.
Because they didn't want to negate the personal foul penalty, not realizing it was already negated by the holding call. I was at the game and saw Bills players pulling back their own teammates.
I don't know.... practice? We have a pretty good defense that could recreate that situation pretty easily. Josh has a go-to reaction when pressured: backpedal and run to his right to find a receiver along the sideline. He can't keep being so predictable. So yeah, a little practice working on doing things differently wouldn't hurt. Another benefit of doing it in practice rather than in-game? No film.
Don't think of Barkley as inferior. He's a change up. How would you feel if Allen plays and keeps taking 3rd down sacks and throwing picks because you don't want to sit him for one game? Don't sweat it because it's happening anyway. Barkley will start Sunday.
It looks like my scenario will work itself out anyway. Allen won't play Sunday, my gut tells me. Benching him, sitting him, concussion protocol, all adds up the same. He won't be back til the Miami game.
First he's not a rookie. Second he's still doing dumb stuff. Third he still does dumb stuff after his OC tells him not to do dumb stuff. Players get benched all the time. It's not the end of their careers. Especially when you make it clear why. If Allen can't handle that then he's the wrong guy.
Well they can start teaching him how to throw a ball away.
I disagree. It's equally as bad to keep playing him when he's not breaking those bad habits. The concussion thing might be just what we needed. Let Josh sit this week and the bye. Then bring him back for the Dolphins, a good confidence booster.
