But that doesn't explain the compulsion to respond to every perceived disrespect of your beloved Patriots. It's like you have to stick up for them.
Are you saying that player reputations never get "inflated" by virtue of being a Patriot?
They could use technology to get better outcomes. RFID chips in balls would absolutely confirm ball placement and whether a ball crosses the goaline. The NFL steals ideas from other leagues eventually so expect an AAF-style Sky Judge in a few years.
Hey, nothing wrong with rooting for this. The Pats play a slightly tougher schedule than us. Eventually Old Man Brady will cost them a game or two. We could pass them in the standings making our Week 16 showdown the game of the year.
I don't believe Gilmore is playing that much better as a Patriot. He's getting more attention because he's a Patriot and not a Bill. Just look at Tre, Levi, Micah and Jordan. There isn't a better secondary in the NFL but your never know it outside of Buffalo.
Ideally we get a couple of defensive scores and let the offense coast. Save the good plays for the Eagles, Browns, Ravens, Cowboys, and of course the Pats.
