    They had the number 2 defense in the NFL that year. Had they won that game it is very possible they go to the super bowl. Tennessee went and we had them beat until one stupid play changed it. We could use a WR like Eric Moulds on this roster right now. Hopefully Duke Williams can become similar to Moulds - keeping my fingers crossed.

    Bruce was a rookie in 1985 which was the last season Williams played.

    Many times he flings it deep off his back foot and it is underthrown. When he has been able to set and throw its too long...

    Don't know why he runs so many empty backfield formations. He has a RB that is a pretty good receiver.

    These "missed" calls always seem to go NE's way. Why didn't they "miss" the phantom penalty that wiped out the personal foul when Allen got his head nearly taken off? They also "missed" Brady's second intentional grounding.

    Maybe simply because he's much better that noodle arm Picksixerman? I think its 5 actually...

    I expect the game plan to be much different with Barkley in there, and hopefully Singletary can come back but I have a feeling he won't be until after the bye week.

    If Mills were mediocre, I'm sure he would still be on an NFL roster at this point in his career (he's only 28). I'll take Ford, who has tremendous growth potential, over Mills any day. Mills, Bodine, Groy, and Ducasse all unemployed and for good reason.

    Bill would have had no trouble with what is legal or not had we hit Brady the exact same way.

    Stood there and watched the ball get intercepted. He made no attempt to go for the ball. Zero effort Jones.

    Of course Allen lowered his head - he did it not to initiate contact but in attempt to dive to get the first down. WTF is Golic looking at?

    Daboll's game plan stunk. He needs to learn to stick with something until they are stopped. our running game was a threat - Daboll made it easy on the pats by running too many no back formations which made passing obvious. Even so the game came down to a blocked punt, a missed extra point and missed field goal. ST was the difference.
