What does last season have to to with this season?? How many times do we see Hughes have a clean shot at a QB sack and he flat out whiffs and doesn't get the QB down? Watch Fitzpatrick's running TD against us - who whiffed on the sack? This is just one example - I'm pretty sure he had another whiff against Washington.

The discussion isn't about who to sign, I'm pretty sure the discussion was about Hughes being mostly invisible and not worth 14 million this season.

Probably because it is money wasted that could be spent on a player that actually deserved it? Hughes is good but he does become invisible and is too inconsistent for that kind of $$.

Look at the career rankings of offenses coached by guru Doughball and you will see. Always in the bottom third. He's a lousy coordinator period.

Foster has how many targets? Only targets I recall are on deep balls and Josh hasn't been close to hitting them. I don't know why they don't get him involved.

McBeane always looking to make the team better...but the price has to be right.

He was very good his first year in Buffalo but that didn't last - he became a statue in the pocket and had zero mobility and began holding the ball too long. Not making the playoffs here with him at QB certainly was a disappointment, (especially when the Steelers beat us with their 3rd team in a must win late season game to make post season)......I blame the curse of number 11 on that.

I really feel like they are seriously limiting Gore's carries because of his age. That's fine but you can't abandon the run because Gore is old. Get Singletary going - he has shown he can make plays when needed.

When your QB gets more planned run plays than your second RB, and your starting RB has 9 carries - you have offensive play calling problems.
