Just go back to the old rules, there is no need to let kickers use their own balls. The old way was fine, the records won’t need an asterisks, and it won’t feel like a video game with a cheat code. That kick from the pats kicker, I’m pretty sure that cleared the top of the uprights. I mean it legit could have been good from 75 or 80 or even farther! You think 13 seconds was bad, what happens when teams get a touch back on the kickoff, and then kick a fg with as little as ONE second on the clock.

They were taking these timeouts at 45 seconds remaining. And we didn’t have enough to stop the clock after third down. We at most would have 20 seconds, then the kickoff. Which is basically what we saw at the end of the game. He even took our last TO after they got a first down!!! We weren’t getting the ball back after that. We couldn’t stop the clock, they had 3 more downs, and there was 30 seconds left maybe? it was horrible and gave them 2-3-4 extra shots at the end zone. I understand the idea, try to save time for your offense, that works with 2 mins left. but there comes a point where there’s not enough time for your offense, so make it harder on theirs McD!
