  1. My thoughts exactly. Because As much as we gripe about the D, the way the nfl is these days, you just can’t stop the best qbs. No matter what, it’s in the rule book. So I believe we should have a totally unstoppable offense without a weakness. We are basically one good WR from that, and it could easily be/have been a high draft pick (Brian Thomas jr last season as an example, or something wilder, like the trade up the Falcons did years back for Julio Jones, go up and target a guy like Nabers )
  2. Is Palmer on the team? Lol
  3. I personally like the idea of drafting players who fall due to injury concerns. Drone Walker is a great example - he’s a first round talent. Two CBs from ND and Michigan went in round two and I believe both were considered top 5-10-15 pick players. Could we have landed a well talented starting CB in round 2 instead of 1? also Mike green - would have loved him
  4. Hoecht played a bunch in the preseason. He looked worthless to me even against other teams third string. He just ran way out of position and got no where near the ball carrier
  5. He was injured most offseason and coming into camp. I’d give him a break. tj sanders has been decent and played a bunch. I don’t understand the thread.
  6. Walker is an absolute stud and it was evident in the first preseason game. does anyone have the clip from the first (or maybe second) dolphins series where I think Walker tackled the back AND lineman blocking him ?
  7. Meanwhile Bosa doesn’t come off the field and gets pressure seemingly every down.
  8. Brady schemes a lot of guys open. But it appears to me that 1v1 our guys get no separation or win matchups. And it allows the D to key in on the running game and play is very tight and fill the box. We don’t take deep shots and our guys don’t win 1v1 so the D isn’t honest.
  9. Tell me about it. Dolphins could play tight play man get pressure and it stymied us. Same was true v the Jets actually.
  10. Dawkins had one of his worst games I can remember. He allowed a few pressures and He just blew two blocks on those last two tosses.
  11. Bosa is great. Walker is our very own Chris jones. Our WRs can’t get open.
  12. I don’t think our WRs can beat them 1v1. They also have 10 guys in the box it seems
  13. Dude outside wr still an issue for us. They have tons of guys in the box playing us tight and we don't have anyone who can get open outside or deep to keep them honest. jets were able to clamp down on our passing game too.
  14. The Josh Allen run was really dumb
  15. This is where that bad call on the Hill non-catch on third down, their first drive, really makes a big difference in the game
  16. So dumb. They need to pound at us with the run. But honestly we don’t have to respect their passing game
  17. First two games I thought Davis looked off. Could be game plan tho and those were passing plays originally
  18. Forgive my ignorance, what does Dawkins do?
  19. Ironically as soon as fields pulls back, it’s a false start on the qb!
  20. The biggest cheater in the history of the league is abusing his special privileges, shocking!
  21. Not really. Look at how jacked he is. You don’t get that big without losing flexibility. He gets to game action and he tears a muscle that’s too tight
  22. Does anyone have film of him out there? Would love to see it
  23. I believe we will see Rapp and Hamlin next week. If you remember, they used bishop in the ravens playoff game last year, and moved him into the box against Henry. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hamlin is the starter from here on out but Bishop is used against run heavy teams.
  24. I think this is the perfect game to discuss Allen v Jackson. Because Jackson wasn’t bad at all, he was good, vintage Lamar. And it was abundantly clear that Allen (and Mahomes) are a tier above him. The gameplan was - stop Henry. Lamar was an afterthought. the passes he completed - wide open receivers running for huge gains after the fact. the best plays he made were as a runner. jackson is still a wait-til-he’s-open passer. Allen meanwhile was the whole team. The only player to game plan against and worry about. Allen has grown into a giant drew brees who runs like a horse. Allen is now one of the best pure passing QBs to ever play AND one of the best mobile QBs to ever play. Allen (and Mahomes) are the only dudes in the top tier.
