My expectation is in 2 years he will be underpaid. This is a fair contract. Not directed at YattaOkasan but why the negativity? We locked up a good player who is getting better. His back issues appear to be behind him. I have faith that the Bills did their due diligence on ability, long term team cap planning, and health wise to extend him. Beane is thorough. This isnt the reactionary clown car of front offices of the past. Some people would prefer we let him go so they can B word about some washed up l'aeal (sp) Collins or rookie we plug in to replace him.

13-4. The guys we lost were old. Babich brings sone aggressive play calling. Brady and Josh spread it around - the focus changes week to week. Bass goes to IR and we sign a new kicker.

trying to make this my last thought on this-he is small and slow. he is a third stringer that looks good against 4th stringers, he was never asked to pass protect which is a hint as well. This is the Bills being good citizens and respecting the contribution of Gore Sr to the league by rostering him for a year to see what happens. Best of luck to the kid- he has heart and instinct but these 2 things can't overcome his poor NFL physical attributes. So your comment on him making the tackle is that it doesn't count as a good play because the other team messed up. Should he have engaged the blocker like Edmunds would have because 'that is what the play design says' I really don't understand the nitpicking of this kid's play. Why can't we be happy when something good happens to our team that is unexpected.

How does that benefit him vs making the team? If he makes the team he practices with the 1s and 2s, plays special teams during games and gets a series or 2 in blow outs. If he makes it to the PS he runs scout of the opposing team defense and maybe gets called up for a game or 2 to watch or play teams, And he makes less money. How does this benefit him? The only thing worse than PS is being out of the league.

Question -So did the rest of the defense look good and Joe A sucked or did everyone suck. Answer- everyone sucked.

This exactly. Last week he excelled at his 1/11th. This week it is a clown car of guys out of position.

I want to see Lancaster Joe play and solidify his position but am relieved it won't be on national TV so I don't waste 3 hours watching an ugly game.
