  1. he is even if Watson comes back LOL
  2. Nice situation for Flacco... (not so much the Browns) but reminds me of a Testeverde... finish your career out playing a little bit, not needing to be the guy, mostly hanging on the sidelines not getting beat to death, and making millions... good work if you can find it...
  3. I wasnt born at this point, but I have heard the stories of these players thru my Dad and Uncles... Its really nice to see it be real...
  4. Yeah something tells me he is gonna be a faller and not a riser as the draft approached LOL....
  5. He really kind of is... like there is no doubt he walks to the beat of his own drum... but he likes his drum and he doesnt care if you dont LOL... I just dont think the average person can fathom who would walk away from millions and millions and all of the adulation... but I guess he was never about money and is quite introverted.. so he is happy .... good for him.
  6. Its funny, I wont say most, but a lot of folks believe that money isnt everything and cant buy you happiness... yets when someone walks the walk he gets ostracized.
  7. I am kinda here... I see the Jets staying the same or making a minor move either way... so 6 to 8 wins... Miami I see moving in the wrong direction a bit so I am in for 9 -10 wins for them... Patsies.. I see moving up I actually would go 7-9 wins for them... so to me its a toss up... But I will pick the fins... because I think of the 3 Tua might be the best QB of the 3 teams at this point with Maye on his heels... and Vrabel is a new system they make take a bit to get untracked... Jets gonna Jets..
  8. Bills moved from 21 to 7 so 14 spots... Trade 21 with the Bengals that sent Cordy Glenn over to Cinci to move to 12 then 2 second round picks to move from 12 to 7. This move from 30 to say 5 (25 SPOTS) would cost much much more than a starting tackle and 2 2nd rders. But in the end we are saying the same thing I think... just an immense amount of capital to move up for one play... no way I am doing this
  9. Dont forget the cops who wanted him to get out of the car.
  10. Oh I would totally give him a 10% shot... but the last half of his career would need to be special and fortunate... you also made an earlier point about his own desire... Like how much money is enough for you to stop taking the beating you take week after week...
  11. Nice notion, but we moved up about the same amount for Allen... and that cost was big, I cannot see doing it for a cb/Wr especially with our needs.. the cost of failure would be astronomical...
  12. Ok I feel at least a little better now that my memory wasnt playing tricks... I was pre 10 at that point... so I remember what I remember but sometimes its a bit skewed.
  13. I dunno... its possible, he would need to be ageless like a Frank Gore or Emmitt himself.... 16 years in the league as a Big back is alot... but he was the other one I thought of and then looked and was like, Big power backs can drop off quick... thats a long time for a big man to pound the rock.. but to your point, he is a super freak of nature... the other assumption is that he can stay healthy for 7 more years... that could derail this as well... but I dont disagree... he does have a chance... a lot needs to go right.
  14. Overrated - literally the entire starting defense minus Benford, Johnson and Bernard (Milano only because of availability. injury etc.... ) Rousseau is inconsistent... Oliver is flashes at times but is consistently underperforming otherwise, Jones is washed, Epi got paid and did zero, Rapp is over positioned as a starter, Hamiln is over positioned as a starter, Von is gone but totally over rated at this stage, Douglas is gone but was over positioned or over rated, Williams not a starter but rated fairly. Underrated - Torrence, McGovern, Ty Johnson,
  15. oh dang I was really little when I watched him... I thought he was a corner... but thanks for the fix there... well... I'll just keep quiet maybe no one else will notice LOL... we shall see!
  16. Yeah the two I was not seeing or not a lot were Tony Greene and Mario Clark both solid guys
  17. I dont think the player is in the league currently and or has just joined that will break the Recieving and Rushing records.. Derek Henry is like 7k away and getting older... Like Julio Jones and DeAndre are like 8-10k away and are getting much older... I think Watt or Myles garrett for the sack record are the two most likely... but they gonna need to play awhile and at a high level... Von miller is closest current but he needs like 65 sacks to do it... not happening...
  18. So as nauseating as it is... I tend to look at things thru the prism of what is best for the Bills lol... so... assuming that he escapes punishment in 2025 simply because it is gonna take that long to work thru the legal system and punishment takes place in 2026 honestly that works for me.... coming off an LCL he will likely be sketchy all year... let him play thru that and then sit him via punishment in 2026... Now if this means he escapes punishment all together... that is both nauseating and disturbing because it well its just disgusting... but it shows us once again the rules apply to the Chiefs in their own unique standard... or the NFL is completely screwed up or both.... likely both...
  19. My top 15 ranked... clearly gonna be debate... but here goes... Robert James Tre Butch Byrd Booker Edgerson Nate Odomes Charlie Romes Mario Clark Tony Greene Stephone Gilmore Nate Clements Antoine winfield terrance Mcgee Thomas Smith Jeff Burris Kirby Jackson
  20. I almost worry that if we draft Gino he falls in the good enough category and we never draft JA. Maybe it worked out in a sick way lol
  21. and I absolutely agree... I was kinda glad he ended up having a decent career and got paid a bit too ... Love the underdog that works hard and gets a little piece of the Pie... totally with you there.
  22. I dunno, I feel like this is a nothing burger... I think if Milton is starting for you on that team you have a problem... I dont think Vrabel wants that either, I think he prefers a pocket passer.
  23. So I agree with you here, good for him... just one item of note. He actually was a 2nd rd pick. I remember him sitting in the draft hall waiting to get picked some had him mocked as a top 5 guy... and him slinking in his chair as each name was called... and then going home not getting picked. I actually felt really bad for him....
  24. I think these are an advantage the following week... they have to play (most times) on a short week... but so does the other team... and they likely have to travel. Then they get several extra days of rest that their next opponent doesnt have... I would love to see the overall records of home teams playing on Christmas/Thanksgiving the following week... I know I am over thinking this, but I am always leary of playing teams that have extra rest...
