  1. Well, I am not far off of where you were at... clearly in his prime he is better than Morrow, hopefully if asked to step up he is better than Morrow, but ultimately what I meant by that is he is not there to take away time from Bernard or Milano or maybe even Dorian, he is there to be a vet presence to help these guys... that said... I think he has a shot more than Morrow did to step in if Bernard or Milano go down assuming he stays healthy which is a problem... but I am hoping that Williams takes the leap and is that guy... but your points are quite fair I think.
  2. I know since Tremaine is only 12 clearly could be... LOL Yeah, he is this years Morrow...
  3. RIP Robb... lots of struggles for that poor guy, I think CTE might have been in play... but nevertheless a really nice player for us.
  4. Somebody find Don Koharski and have him show the kid LOL Schony! where is big Don? IYKYK LOL
  5. I am with you, I honestly believe in order to win a championship in the Free Agent world of sports you have to have special play from everyone
  6. Lots of JZ love on this post! Honestly one of the reasons I did this thread... I really didnt remember him until people started to talk him up... others like Lewis and Cowart and Mueller etc... kinda fade... but then folks bring em back up and I am like damn yeah I liked that dude.
  7. Thank you!!!! I needed that!!!!
  8. Nope he was perfect, but I wouldnt want him doing handoffs cause one kid did drop the shoe when he handed it back... LOL... We really need OTAs to start... LOL
  9. Not gonna lie, I look at every release like could this person help us, would they fit in the scheme and cap... Not sure he is they type to fit our LB scheme... he is big at a little over 240 and has a 5.5mm cap hit if we claim him... obviously if we waited we could negotiate a new contract... but not sure he fits the scheme...
  10. *me sitting waiting for the "gitter done Beane"... LOL
  11. SO who do I run into in the Tampa airport yesterday on my flight back to Buffalo... lol One Dalton Kincaid... great guy posing for pictures with little kids... signing shoes and hats... If anyone has recently left the airport you may have noticed a big picture Ad with Josh, Dawson, Tasker and Dion ... Dalton stops looks at it and starts to laugh... anyways... I am not saying he is skinny. I am saying how pedestrian he looks... I would not have picked him off as a football player at all... I remember being a kid and how old and grizzled these guys looked... he looked like a kid I would offer 40 bucks to for cutting my lawn lol... sorry for being old and not overly relevant.. just had to share. lol
  12. Its funny you say that... I was just wondering in my own brain how much interpersonal history with existing players comes into play for a GM when they are looking to acquire... like back when Gronk was out there... Is Beane like, I wonder what Tre would think of this.... Or do you ever bring in Lucic to play with Miller .. or is a GM like they are big boys deal with it.
  13. I honestly didnt see enough of him to be hey he's a player or oh no... get him out of here... my impression was generally positive with hope that he can take another step... it would be huge as a 2nd year guy to come in and set it on fire... but I am not expecting that..
  14. brilliant and Sam Rogers too .... while we are going down this path.... Ray Bentley and Scott Radecic anyone?
  15. Absolutely and we sure could have used him for sure I was waiting for a frank Lewis pick
  16. I remember his pick six in the Dallas MNF game... classic Quaterback Cravin... lol wasnt that his non hit rap single...
  17. Wow I love stuff like this, I did not know..
  18. I remember hearing of him from my parents... probably alive when he played but do have a real memory of it... but from what I have been told he was epic.
  19. So just looking at some of the tenure on our posters lots of history here, I was interested in who your favorite (s) Bills are that just didn't get enough recognition or were under rated (its a slow time of year lol) .. So, Over 60 years of history here... who are the players that you loved that didnt get the props they deserved for what they did. I am gonna go in 3 loosely defined era's Early, Middle Current... Early - Bubby Braxton met him once super good guy was my favorite player in the era. Punishing FB instrumental in helping OJ to 2000 yards, devastating blocker, and had running ability as well. People here remember him... not sure he ever got the recognition in the shadow of OJ Middle - Kyle Williams this is really end of middle started in 2006, I believe he may have gone to a pro bowl... but this guy was drafted after John McCargo lol, I dont remember a bad game, he was a pit bull and a major leader during a period that there just was not a lot of over all talent on the team.. this guy brought it everyday. We need more like him Recent/Current - Shakir just something about this 5th rd pick, never going to be confused with Justin Jefferson, but he gets open makes clutch catches takes tough hits runs after catch and imo is headed for a 1000 yd year if he stays healthy. I think we appreciate him as a player, not sure he gets the recognition he deserves outside of here for what he means to the overall WR room. How about yours...?
  20. I am thinking that the aggressiveness of the attack will be directly proportionate to how much we can rely on our secondary... So do they stay healthy, does Bishop make great strides, is Max a major upgrade over Rasul, does Tre regain some level of form... If the secondary is a hot mess, then I feel like that diminishes our aggression... and you rely on 4 and hope Epi has a great year, Bosa stays healthy and is an upgrade over Von last year and Rousseau clicks it to another level... After the suspensions are over how does Hoecht on Obi Wan impact this mix. Now if you get a secondary that is more in line with the Poyer/Hyde Tre days... well I think he will take more chances.
  21. and it would only take Keon 4.3 seconds to run from one side of him to the other... LOL...
  22. I think the Cowboys have been all pomp and no circumstance for years... I dont hate them anymore, that is saying something... they are all but irrelevant to me... and I was a Cowboy hater all the way back in the 70s with they were the cocky arrogant South America's team of loud mouths... of course the Superbowls etc.. but they just kinda exist to me now... but that is what 25- 30 years of basic irrelevance does (not real legitimate SB contenders) ... I think Jerry Jones involvement limits them... and as this slowly continues because they never really bottom out... they will become increasingly less hate able... and more like the Bears or the Cardinals.. just meh... thats my take on them... So over exposed, I think to a degree... 6 Prime time games to the say Dolphins (close playoff team but not in 5) but you still have a large market and there is that glitzy aura .... Over rated, not by me... they look like a lean out playoff bubble team... to Cowboys fans... I suspect they are really over rated... but then again... to us have we over rated the Bills a year or two... thats just being a fan... to the media... i dont know they tend to put optimistic spins on things... maybe a little...
