Then trade up for a WR. We are way past time giving Allen junk to work with outside of what Diggs WAS, and what Kincaid is. Shakir did come on, but he is a slot only who does deserve more play time. But we need a true outside threat and its past time to get one. Then get another 1-2 WR's in this draft that can contribute. Allen can't keep trying to do it all on his own and God knows whats going on with Diggs.

As a die hard OU Fan, I loved Baker. But I knew McDermott wouldn't take him with Bakers extremely fiery attitude and McDermotts conservative approach. I can tell you in Cleveland he came off wrong in the locker room as a rookie, overly cocky, I'm BMOC and you can't do that. I like it. Some cans gripe about "same old same old" but this is a change from the SOP at OBD. As for as promoting from within on the OC and DC, both worked hard and deserve it. We will see if they are allowed to put their twist on things but seeing who we hired at QB coach, it seems that Brady is being allowed to implement HIS system, not a version of Dabol's. I like what I see concept wise from what Brady did at LSU and it would work in the NFL IF he is allowed to do it and we get him a couple more pieces to work with this offseason. It also throws a monkey in the wrench so to speak with DC's we normally go up against because the film on our Offense for the last 6 years can be tossed out the window which is a great thing. I don't think whining like this on Social media is going to do wonders for him in getting a new gig. I could be wrong.

From looking at his Social media posts, I agree. He got butthurt he didn't get promoted. But, in all fairness he had two all pro safeties and at a time an all pro cornerback to work with, so its not hard to put up great stats when you coach that. I will be interested to hear from McDermott on what made him pick Addae.

Something to think about. Curry was part of Sean Paytons staff in 2017 & 18 correct? Last time I checked, didn't the offense that Brady ran at LSU have a lot of Paytons concepts? So we hired a QB coach that understands Paytons concepts, and can help Allen get up to speed quicker on them.
