  1. I Agree with you and don't get why the team trading the player has to eat the cap hit. The player still gets paid so the team receiving the player should take the cap hit.
  2. I think the NFL and NFLPA should allow Teams to dump 1 contract per year, with the agreement the team has to pay the player 1/2 of the remaining contract. In other words, Terry pays Von 1/2 of what he owes on his contract, but it's 100% off our cap.
  3. The Bills win that trade if Tre hadn't had all the injuries. Everyone forgets, that Mahomes has never beaten us, KC has.
  4. 41 mill over instead of 51, so only an 10 mill difference for us, which somehow I am missing how the cap going up by 13 mill, only nets us 8 mill? https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/?ref=trending-pages
  5. There are some good, solid players on that list that can help. But I only see maybe 3 that we can sign with the cap situation. I would like to see what Samuel would to with Josh throwing to him.
  6. This has been on my mind a lot since my grandson forced me to watch the "Pro Bowl" competitions. My wife was there and said "Payton Manning is my favorite QB of all time, next to Jim Kelly" and I can dig that, I LOVED watching Manning play. But it got me to realize how much I miss watching him play. Along with guys like Kelly, Elway, Marino, Moon, Young, Montana, etc. Many of us have been a Bills fan for a long time and we desperately want a Superbowl win, but are we cheating ourselves when it comes to Josh? I say this because I sat back and thought about how much I missed watching those guys play and it hit me, Josh just finished year 6, how many more do we have him? 6-8 More years is my guess so he might be halfway through his career already, and all we can do is talk Superbowl. Maybe we are missing it? We have THE best QB (A pure generational QB) in the NFL and I think we want a Super bowl for us and him, so bad that we aren't just sitting back and enjoying watching him play, enjoying what we have. I plan on trying to just sit back each game and enjoy with my grandson watching Josh just sling the damn ball around the field, and hopefully, we get a title in the process.
  7. The Chiefs are our new Pats.
  8. How WR isn't #1 on everyone's list is crazy.
  9. Gabe at #79 is bad. I wonder if he will update his video to add that stat?
  10. Kincaid is TE 1 now and thats a done deal. Shakir is in the slot so I see Knox as TE 2,and used as an additional blocker and endzone target only.
  11. The combine is this next week, where deals get done...or finalized. Why would KC want a WR who they make dissappear every time they play against him?
  12. Sorry, that timeframe of Bradys career seems to elude me lol
  13. Agreed. He just isn't the answer at #2 and not a #1 IMHO.
  14. IMHO It was reported somewhere that his agent reached out mid season for talks and the Bills weren't interested. Was he asking too much? Did they feel they needed to upgrade and move on? Maybe both? But if Beane really wanted him back I feel discussions would have started in mid season in some capacity. And feom Gabes post it seems his agent has been told the Bills aren't an option. But you know someone is going to greatly over pay him. My guess is Washington.
  15. It's the same every year or close to it. Bills fans have this innate thing where they get attached to players, esp. mediocre ones. (and I am betting someone is going to reply to this post with stats or something trying to validate that Gabe isn't mediocre). Gabe posting those stats means he knows, and more importantly, so does his agent, that he isn't a #1 and not even a damn good #2. If you are that good, you don't have to post that, you just say "look at the film". The film on Davis shows great inconsistency and a limited route tree. BUT...someone will pay him big bucks and I don't blame him for taking the money at all. But we MUST find a #2 who can take over as #1 at some point who has a damn good route tree, and can be reliable consistently.
  16. Agreed, just draft.
  17. Diggs comments - 0 TBD - 0
  18. That is what Beane thought, but it appears the cap didn't go up this offseason as much as expected. God worked through Beane. That said, he could just be thankful for his family and life. OR Beane has unofficially reached an extension for him we will hear about it soon. I hope its all of that.
  19. I am with you, I hope it truly becomes a really good developmental league for the NFL.
  20. I feel Terry needs to (if he hasn't already) address why the hell we fade physically, or have a ton of injuries, late in the season, It's becoming the norm. He paid to build the best training facility in the NFL, but this keeps happening.
  21. NE sucks but has cap room. Jets don't have a lot, but KC does. I see him going to where the money is the greatest and that is not going to be KC, they don't overpay for WRs and have great scouting. I think Washington, as they need talent badly, and will overpay since they have tons of cap room
  22. Yes, but hasn't he put out stuff in the offseason like this before? He is working his butt off etc. But the thing is that he, like many athletes, can work all he wants, but the consistency isn't there. He hasn't proven on the field he is a RELIABLE #2. We need someone who has a much better catch rate and runs a much broader route Tree for #2. Our #2 has to be someone a DC has to at least account for, and unfortunately Davis hasn't been that. I appreciate the effort he put in here, but he just isn't the answer, esp. for what he can depend on the market. I am betting he ends up with the Redskins ( I refuse to call them whatever it is they name themselves these days) I wish him the best of luck.
  23. That's why I say take the cap hits this year, draft well amd do nothing FA wise until after June 1st. At some point we have to do this, I say get it over with now.
  24. Dang straight! Hey...maybe he's asleep?
