    When Rich Eisen broke the news on the draft coverage, it broke my heart to hear Daniel Jeremiah. He tried so hard not to totally lose it. Prayers to Daniel and his family as well.

    McDermott has to change his philosophy on this wanting vets at all positions. KC starts rookies, the Lions had 4 start last year I think. Gotta draft better and coach better. Time for the youth to start.

    I agree tha IF there is an issue it's money. At his age this next contract will be his last, and he wants the most amount of money. You can't blame him if that's the case.

    Everyone talking about Beane lying, who says he did? We never got the 100% specifics of the agreement. And as reported,it sounds like he failed a physical.

    I think 24 more will come from Allen's conversion of base salary to bonus. That's still 12+ mill needed, which is very doable.

    Was not good yesterday. His Gauntlet performance was flat out fugly.

    Beane said a couple of times this offseason they have learned from their mistakes. Maybe, and I am just guessing here, they will not do as many interviews on players they like to throw teams off. Fans are even saying, they don't draft anyone they don't meet at the combine. I would personally like for this to be the first of many times they break that trend.

    My fear is KC might move up for him. Someone posted we didn't meet with him at the combine, only Sr. Bowl. Is that to throw off other teams? He is the kid I really want, and don't mind moving up to say 20 to get him. He would make an impact day 1.
