Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
SoonerBillsFan replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
CRAP! I forgot Samuel and he was the guy I pushed for this offseason. -
They want BIG and Athletic. Speed is good, don't get me wrong, but they are seeming to push for big, physical WR's and that is what Joe Brady had his year as OC with HIS offense down at LSU. No more getting bullied at the LOS, and hopefully a lot more contested balls. It also brings a greater Catch radius for Allen to hit on when his passes are slightly off. Look I get it, Fans want splash they want exciting and we tried that with smaller, faster WR's and it didn't work. I am excited to see this new approach to be honest, and if we get the running game going, then we are going to see somewhat less exciting 8, 10,12+ play drives that eat the clock and keep guys like Mahomes and Kelce on the bench and hopefully lead to more TD's.

Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
SoonerBillsFan replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the signing. I have to ignore most of the board after FA signings and draft picks as you guys would, as my Grandpa used to say, "B word if you were hung with a new rope" Honest to God, if we had traded to #4 and all 3 top WR's were there you guys would complain on which one we took. Then we paid too much, blah blah blah LOL But thats also why I love this board, if everyone agreed life would be borking. As its been said, he is only 25 guys, and for Beane to give him a 1 year deal and bring him into the locker room, Claypool must have convinced McBeane he has changed. If he has, holy **** what a talent. If not, Bye felecia. Let try to be positive shall we? IF he can work out my God we have a good WR room. Shakir, Coleman, and a Claypool that pulled his head out? Wow. Thats what I got. I have a really good feeling about Javon Solomon. I get Dwight Freeny vibes off him. -

Jags rumoured to get back to back London games again in 2024

I hate this London crap. If I were Terry I would flat the the NFL we aren't doing that again. -
Steelers decline 5th year option for Najee Harris

Sad, but not shocking. I really thought he was going to be a stud coming out of College. -
Great post. I think we are moving to a more "physical" team. Want to take away the deep ball, fine... We will beat the crap outta you. As for as our speed, we have it and its not about going deep all the time. Its about getting the ball out on time, on target and let their speed take over in the form of YAC. Fans want Fantasy numbers, they want flash and deep throws and all that crap. I want a superbowl win. If that comes in the form of tons of 10-15 play drives so be it.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
SoonerBillsFan replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't get how Terry could have screwed this up so badly. Build around it, put a dome or a retractable roof and you can have tons of events in there. We could have held the Draft, a Superbowl etc. -
Yes, it is possible. Shakir and Samuel are fast as well. Our WR room is better than many fans think.

Tim Graham article on Kim Pegula and Bills ownership
SoonerBillsFan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as he stays in the background and just write checks, so be it. -

Now that the stadium is a done deal, I can see him selling and just focusing on the Sabres. -
I hope this happens, and in the endzone.

SoonerBillsFan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
#3 sticks out. Look, there is something wrong there and it's becoming obvious. No one is spotless, but the longer Kim has been gone, the more spots are starting to appear. I am glad the team is locked into the new stadium so moving them isn't possible. I hope that money doesn't tighten up in any way. -

That is what I think. Did Terry cut her out because of it? -

Yeah the Bills were Kim's, and now that she is legally out of the picture gives serious concern on what ownership is going to look like going forward. And is Terry going to be as committed financially ( signing bonuses etc.) As he has been? -

This Will Be The Make Or Break Year For This Regime
SoonerBillsFan replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, it won't. Terry loves McBeane and they are staying. They have had a damn good run by most standards and now have a minor rebuild going on. Unless there is some total collapse, they will be here through 2027. -
Where do you see this OL in a couple years?
SoonerBillsFan replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall

Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
SoonerBillsFan replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman IS our #1, better get used to that already. We do need an impact DL. Yeah I know we have Oliver, buy he disappeared against KC. Get further out of cap hell, have a great draft, coach em up and let's go get a Lombardi trophy. And I agree on 10-7 Dolphins yes, Jets... maybe. They give us hell even when we are at full strength. -
Amen. I love this kid. I pray they coach him up right.
-
Good stuff as always. I am higher on Coleman than many,I think he can develop into a top 10 WR. I'm sure I'm gonna hear it about saying that, but it's how I feel. Bishop will be starting mid season,we found our "Poyer". I love Davis, Van pran, gore etal. I am feeling really good about our draft and agree we filled possibly 5 holes and drafted some dang good depth.
