Apparently they have 4 million in cap space and Hopkins cost 3 million ish for the rest of the season

Trading a fifth for him.
-
possibly. He has the size at end to upgrade over toohill vs the run I feel like but it seems smoot has that role.

Week 8 - Bills at Seahawks Game Week Thread
MikePJ76 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems pretty impressive to be missing two corners and on their third string rookie DII right tackle making his first start and go win at atlanta. -
They have drafted 4 wr in the last 3 or 4 drafts. They used pick 105 in 22 on a guy they cut 2 years later. They seem to miss a lot. Thank god for John Lynch that the Shanahan system produces regardless. Probably why they caved because they don't seem to evaluate wr all that well in april. They used 2 picks in the top 150 this year again. Can't blame them for the pearsall thing but still. You would think at least one of these guys they draft would be good. I mean they swapped a 1st and traded a 4th and 5th to draft Aiyuk. Hopefully the bills get to play against Jacob cowsing and ricky pearsall in a few weeks and not cooper kupp and deebo or whatever.

Doesn't that twitter account just post nonsense all the time? I think I have him blocked because of the amount people push his stuff and how stupid it usually is.
-
Just think there are a whole bunch of people here who wanted and would have given up our first round and/or second round pick for this guy and then paid him 30 million a year. They wouldn't shut up about his being a number 1 wide reciever and the missing piece. How and why SF caved on this guy and paid him I will never understand, they had to baby him in the past to get him to play well and they waited a while for him to reach his potential. Seems crazy they spent what they did on him in that system. He seems very easily replaceable in that system with that team. He rewarded them with like 2 catches a game and no touchdowns.

I haven't watch the seattle atlanta game or much of seattle at all this year but apparently they had to play a rookie 6th rounder at right tackle last week and might this week also vs Buffalo. https://sports.mynorthwest.com/1787536/seattle-seahawks-injury-updates-abe-lucas-dk-woolen-and-more/ -
Uhh. The chiefs would probaby love this guy. Him and Kelsey inside and over the middle would not be a pleasent experience. Having said that I doubt they give up a 2 for an older player who is always battling an injury.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-giants-to-waive-boogie-basham Don't even have to trade for him. Does he offer more than casey toohill. Probably not.

Schefter: Metcalf considered “week to week”
MikePJ76 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No metcalf this week would be a break, they now will not have to face Brandon Aiyuk, the worlds greatest reciever in a few weeks either. Deebo has pneumonia like illness also...can't imagine you just rebound from that easily. -
I remember when they came out against Jacksonville, man did they suck that day.

Was houston loud? It didn't even look like a sellout on tv. Looked like a ton of empty seats in the upper levels. -
if you have the nfl+ package the game was on but only on a phone, cant watch on tv.

Thats not really true but what is true is at one point everyone called Alice In Chains "Kindergarden" because they went from being a hair metal glam band to a more rock band in the mold of soundgarden. Then they found their own way. what is true is that Mother Love Bone and Soundgarden were tight because Chris and Andy were roomates and across the street lived shawn smith who went on to form Brad with Stone and made a whole bunch of great records. It is beyond painful that none of these three great songwriters/singers are alive. Also I always viewed it as the Big Five because I include The Screaming Trees in the conversation. Plus Tad made two great records in that moment in time. anyway Go Bills. -
Keeping it in perspective, Bills win percentage
MikePJ76 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
"We lose to teams with Talent" This I guess is because they lost to baltimore and houston? They were pretty damn banged up vs houston and yes they didn't have mixon and their big guy went out during the game but the bills were kind of decimated and on the road still were 20-20 with seconds to play. I would love them to get a shot at Houston again, love it. also I really don't see Milano doing much of anything that will make a big difference this year. he has missed a lot of football. I guess if he is ready in december he can treat thost pats games like preseason working up to his normal self but I just don't see him being a huge difference maker this year. Would be awesome if he is though. -

The Bills are going to Seattle and I just want everyone here to know, I don't mind stealin' bread from the mouths of decadents...... I am going to light a fire in the pit saturday night after Game 2 and enjoy a cigar and Temple of the Dog, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. -
KC vs. Buffalo's record a microcosm of the Allen/Mahomes debate
MikePJ76 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not allen mahomes related but I got a laugh out of Matt Ryan at halftime just all giddy about Mason Rudolph and saying "He has taken care of the ball" He fumbled twice and threw an interception right to Espenesa who dropped it. Pretty funny how turnovers are such an arbitrary topic depending on who is committing them every week. Kirk Cousins apparently turned the ball over in 3 straight posessions yesterday, I haven't watched the game yet but that seems pretty important in that game. I mean I know Kirk is no Jake Cousins, his cousin and Yankee bullpen member who pitched his best in primetime in the biggest games recently but still. -
10/20/24 Game 7 GAMEDAY Bills vs Titans post game thread
MikePJ76 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
it makes sense he would have good chemistry here. He has a relationship with one of the coaches plus He is friends and former teammates with keon's cousin Ceedee lamb. So I imagine they had some things in common before they even met. then the big one, he is looking for a payday and he just got traded to play with Josh Allen. -

The Cook has found the kitchen... uggh. He is painful to listen to at times. The radio broadcast has the best information during the game but the call is kind of a tough listen. -
i can honestly say I have never watched it. I have never really watched the nfl network actually. I always found it lousy and can't stand the former players they have always had. I did love the nfl films Americas Team pieces they did back in 06-07-08. I think that is the only time I ever watched the network.

Amari Cooper is expected to play on Sunday
MikePJ76 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
in his defense, it looked like it came out of allen's hands funny or the wind got it becaue it was a wobbly ball. -
Love Ray Davis and have since the day they drafted him but Cook is the starter. I wish they would get cook into space a little more and stop using him like a bruiser. Cook in space is awesome and he needs to get the ball in space more going forward.

you gave me an eye roll for just pointing out the last time I think we were up this far at this point? and to your statement we didn't get it done, They lost IMO to the greatest single season team I have ever seen. I wasn't alive for the 72 dolphins but I saw the rest of the teams on the greatest of all time list and I hold the 1991 Washington Redskins as the best single season team I have ever seen.
