The bills have two veteran starters at safety who they like plus a 2nd round safety with a great skill set. Plus they have two more veterans, one in edwards on the roster and one in Jackson on the practice squad. hard to think they invest anymore resources in the safety position this year.

this feels like something to be concerned about for sunday. The crowd noise, potential rain and Josh's recent running out of the pocket a little early is a little nerve wracking. The running game being excellent will fix that but it won't be fun if its 3rd and 7+ all day. Also I am surprised no one in the Buffalo media is talking about this but Leslie Frazier is the assistant head coach in Seattle. Not sure what he does there since they have coordinators (not a really an impressive group there) and they are running the head coaches defense. Another thing that appears to be an issue with Seattle is their special teams have been bad. I did not realize Jim Harbaugh's son Jay is the special teams coach until today. I hate the harbaughs. Beating a harbaugh family member will makes this game if they win twice as enjoyable. also number 58 looks pretty good.

Seems like that is why they shuffled their linebackers. Kicking dodson to the will and trading for jones to play in the middle is probably to help them play the run. If they have one of their corners back this week that will probably help them use a safety in run support also.

DeAndre Hopkins is on his way to Kansas City. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Titans and Chiefs have completed a trade that will send the veteran wide receiver to the back-to-back Super Bowl champions. The Titans will get a fifth-round pick that can escalate to a fourth-rounder if certain conditions are met. When news of the pending deal surfaced on Wednesday morning, there was word that the Titans would pick up some of Hopkins’s salary to facilitate the deal. Per the most recent report, about half of Hopkins’s remaining salary — over $5 million — will be paid by his former team. Hopkins will have to sign a new contract to reflect the new agreement, so an official announcement may take some time but the Chiefs will have a new offensive piece in their arsenal sooner rather than later.

I hate them both. I remember when they came out in 05 and jumped up and down on the Falcons logo before the game like they had been doing for awhile but it was monday night and the MNF broadcast showed it and after Andy Reid was like I don't know anything about it. That is who he is to me. I just hate him.

Andy reid's teams have always won because they are great on the line of scrimmage. That is how he builds all his teams. The chiefs are just like the eagles in the 00's. Great on the line of scrimmage, excellent defense that plays fast hits hard and gets good play out of a tough position in safety. Both teams had great kickers and DC's. The difference in KC is better qb play in clutch situations. I always thought the eagles had it easy until parcells and coughlin showed up in the nfc east. Those first few years where Reid and Johnson got them going they were playing some of the worst teams ever in Dallas and Washington. The giants had a good season and made the super bowl in 00 but were never really that good. Once Parcells rebuilt Dallas, Coughlin built the giants and even Gibbs showing up in 04, Reids dominance was never really the same. They peaked in 04 and were chasing from there out. Never got it. Reid was a big part of the failures with his late game screw ups and time issues (which cost him his job). I can't stand the guy and I can't stand anyone associated with those 90's packers. Giant collection of scumbags, reid included.

I love Gibbs. Saying Parcells never wins one if the skins have their health is beyond a stretch. Gibbs skins teams won two super bowls in strike shortened seasons. That matters. You can easily flip this statement and point out if the Giants had caught a few breaks they win a third, i mean they got a bad Pass Interference call on them in overtime vs the Rams at home in 89. That setup a game winning TD from Everret to Flipper anderson who scored and ran down the tunnel, one of those great post season moments. I am pretty sure the 1989 49ers who are in the conversation of greatest teams of all time did not want any part of the Giants. I guess you could say if the giants win in 89 they probably do not in 90 since they were so motivated to makeup for the horrible loss to the rams in 89. Having said that the 91 Redskins are the most dominant team I have ever watched, more than the 85 bears, 89 niners, 07 pats etc. They were good at everything. Their only loss involved Dallas recovering an onsides kick and scoring a TD on essentially a Hail Mary.

Yea there is no question there. At the same time you can only play your schedule and they were outclassed in baltimore early and then they were pretty beat up at houston. and fwiw if they lost to Arizona they would be 4-3 and in first place in the west and the jags and jets would be 3-4. Arizona has beaten SF and the chargers so they are decent This is a really difficult game sunday which will get harder if bernard is not playing.

They have him for two years though if I am understanding his contract correctly. So a conditional 4th/5th for two years at around 3 million a year seems pretty reasonable. Andy Reid has taken lots of players and maximized what they do well. Hopkins will be no different.

Seems pretty impressive to be missing two corners and on their third string rookie DII right tackle making his first start and go win at atlanta.

They have drafted 4 wr in the last 3 or 4 drafts. They used pick 105 in 22 on a guy they cut 2 years later. They seem to miss a lot. Thank god for John Lynch that the Shanahan system produces regardless. Probably why they caved because they don't seem to evaluate wr all that well in april. They used 2 picks in the top 150 this year again. Can't blame them for the pearsall thing but still. You would think at least one of these guys they draft would be good. I mean they swapped a 1st and traded a 4th and 5th to draft Aiyuk. Hopefully the bills get to play against Jacob cowsing and ricky pearsall in a few weeks and not cooper kupp and deebo or whatever.

Just think there are a whole bunch of people here who wanted and would have given up our first round and/or second round pick for this guy and then paid him 30 million a year. They wouldn't shut up about his being a number 1 wide reciever and the missing piece. How and why SF caved on this guy and paid him I will never understand, they had to baby him in the past to get him to play well and they waited a while for him to reach his potential. Seems crazy they spent what they did on him in that system. He seems very easily replaceable in that system with that team. He rewarded them with like 2 catches a game and no touchdowns.
