Yea its the game that gets played nationally. There is some truth to even the biggest nonsense though and that is how it continues. In a few weeks we will have real games and this stuff will get sorted out.

AWA Wrestling and Old NFL Films highlight shows were the best. Coming home from elementary school and sitting down and watching those were great!

Chris Jones saying he will sit out until week 8 to get the contract he wants seems like maybe the actual biggest story in the league right now. They have won super bowls unfortunately so it will get downplayed but you cant just replace a guy like that and move on.

It sure feels like an advertisement this year. Its like the league needs Rodgers in New York to be good and to be loved so the show is basically a hey everyone is wrong about rodgers look how soft and cuddly and funny he is. The jets didn't want to do this so I imagine this is the compromise.

It's tough listening to these insufferable ego maniacs talk about anything. I think aikman should break in to song and put on his big dumb hat and boots and play oklahoma nights while buck gets a hair plug injection live during the game. That would make them interesting and entertaining. also, did they fire buck's wife when they fired all those people from ESPN this summer? She was as much a narcissist as these two are. I really can't stand these people.

man i remember watching bills fans drag jets fans out of their suite and beat the hell out of them in december of 98. I think it was right after dedric ward's backbreaking play...I think 60 people got arrested!! I saw a raiders fan get knocked out cold in the parking lot after the loss to oakland in october of 02.......it was scary we thought that dude was dead.

Great player but which teams around the league need running backs so bad they are willing to part with draft capital and commit to a big contract? He seems like a player that would do well in Baltimore and Washington but I can't imagine they are interested with dobbins as robinson already set as starters.

I am reserving all judgement on the pass protection until the regular season and we see what it looks like after a gameplan. also can't wait to see them play 12 personnel and put the tight ends in motion and help on the edges when needed and in the running game. This team is going to be challenged every week this season up front except for the raiders and bucs games. Those 7 games vs the nfc and afc east are going to be difficult up front. I really hope they play a more physical brand of football when they get leads.

Yep, every team needs 1 or more tackles as depth. Most teams want versatile ones that can kick inside and hold their own to help with the gameday roster. If you want a backup tackle you are going to have to find a team that is willing to move one for a draft pick. I imagine the discussion depending on the player starts with a 5th rd pick.

my personal opinion is he just an ok head coach and an ok defensive coordinator. Not to beat a dead horse but after the chiefs loss in 21 had they fired him and hired daboll and allowed him to hire wink martindale and these were the guys in charge I would be feeling much better. Feels like McDermott has been given the power that the all time greats had, Parcells, Belichick, Holmgren, Johnson, Gibbs, Landry etc. IMO this is a mistake and undeserved.

I wonder if the front office would have any interest in Baltimore's Malik Harrison. He seems to be on the bubble. Not sure if he is just more of the same however.

They are going to need to be aggressive and use a draft pick for a swing tackle. They will never get one on waivers after teams make their cuts this week.

I don't think its time to panic yet but I wish buffalo had one do over from the draft. at 150 they took justin shorter and he is probably not going to help this team for awhile meanwhile 19 picks later Dallas took OT Asim Richards and he looks like a player. He would be the swing tackle here with the way he is performing in the preaseason.

last year in Dallas he looked done...can not move laterally. there has to be better players available who don't make a roster somewhere

my complaint about tonight is I do not understand why they didn't come out and use tonight to work on the running game. Pittsburgh has a very talented aggressive front 7 on defense. I really thought tonight would be about coming out and working on being physical. I understand there is no gameplanning and that can cause problems with your protections so why not just come out running and avoid the pitfalls with dropping back every play to pass. I just don't think the team can get over the hump until they are a physical team. Brian Dabbolls Giants team looked very physical yesterday.
