Going forward I think when in a Hail Mary situation Keon Coleman and MVS should be on the field as safeties in order to bat down the jump balls. lots of teams have done this over the history of the nfl, keyshawn johnson was good at it.

I just realized todd downing is now calling plays so I expect the Jets to run a lot tonight. He has beat and lost to the bills calling plays with the titans recently so he knows the team and the defense.

I am worried about Rodgers constantly throwing the ball down the middle to the tight ends. He also is going to test the corners deep i imagine early in the game. If he hits one it is going to open the game up. Would be fun if the defensive line just manhandled them up front and put rodgers on his goofy ass early and often. The jets in constant 3rd and 12 or 3rd and 15 from penalties and sacks is the key to the game imo. If the jets are losing and struggling the building is going to turn on them.

technically you do not but when it's run at its best it seems that is how it is run. I am just scared of anything that takes allen's eyes away from the rush because he has taken a beating two weeks in a row and he looked last week like he was starting to bail early already. we have the parts to be really good at running the ball, imo they still have not had a game this year where they go out and stick with it. I wouldn't be running play action tonight if they are not successful running the ball first, that is a recipe for problems for allen. I always think it is foolish to have your qb turning his back to the rush if the defense doesn't respect the running game. I think Allen has been hit enough already this year.

its very hard to have your quarterback turn his back regularly against an aggressive defense that rushes the passer well. if you are not excellent in the running game you are asking for problems running it too much in a game like tonights game.

i dont see the point in waiting on miller. I would be on the phone with detroit tomorrow morning working something out to send him there. maybe they will give up a conditional 4th that becomes a third if they make the nfc championship or something like that. getting rid of him and clearing his money and adding a draft pick that becomes an inexpensive player you will have for the next four years makes a lot of sense to me. He barely got on the field vs Baltimore in a game where the defense was getting kiled. So if he is just a situational pass rusher I say get rid of him and Detroit is the perfect fit.

nope. these losers planned on losing all week. all they talked about was getting to the bye at 3-3. They are missing a bunch of guys on defense just like Buffalo but their mindset is completely different. why would u just dump elam? He came into a playoff game last year and basically saved the game with his interception in the endzone. There is absolutely no reason to move elam. Especially with the rate defensive players get hurt on this team.
