  1. It doesn't seem to help them when they go against Patrick and Joe.
  2. It's nice to see she was able to attend practice but also sad to see the condition she is in.
  3. Agree. 17 games is dumb with the AFC/NFC rotating between 8 and 9 home games every other year. I think you got right. 18 games, 2 bye weeks, reduced preseason, increase rosters and salary cap.
  4. She looks pretty good here. Sal Capaccio 🏈 on X: "Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula are here. https://t.co/6JRuBRoOwc" / X Never mind it was from 2019. I saw this posted on another Bills board.
  5. uSTADIUM on X: "Chris “Maddog” Russo is putting $10k on the #Jets OVER 9.5 wins. He’s crazy or would you make the same bet? 🎥 - @dpshow https://t.co/olyAMOIM1X" / X
  6. 34 years ago, today (7/26/90) Brent Mydland passed away.
  7. With Allen throwing to a lot of new faces I wonder if the starters get more playing time in preseason. I understand we all want the Bills to get out of these games without injuries, but they have to develop some chemistry before week 1. While doing well in practice is great it can't substitute real game action against an opponent.
  8. Great news. Hopefully her health is improving.
  9. No, but getting that #1 seed is a huge deal and not just because of homefield advantage. Football is a brutal sport and getting that week off so you don't have to play WC weekend is important so players can heal up as best they can from injuries and the wear and tear that players get from the season.
  10. I think the one that deserves criticism is Cashman. The lineup outside of Judge and Soto is "meh". Pitching hasn't been what it was earlier in the year. You are right pinning your hopes on a pitcher in his mid-30's isn't a good idea. If George were still alive Cashman would have been canned by now. Over 162 there will be ups and downs, but the Yankees have been slumping to long now.
  11. I don't really care who the announcers are. The Bills walking off the field 1-0 is all that matters. But it's no surprise that this game won't get a top announcing crew. The Cards at Bills isn't a sexy matchup as it is considered a "meh" interconference game.
  12. It wasn't that long ago the Dems wanted to distance themselves from Kamala. She was polling worse than Biden. Even Obama hasn't endorsed her. But all of a sudden, they think she is the one for the job. Which is it. From now until November we will hear the "polls" saying Trump is in the lead and then Harris is in the lead. Back and forth we ago.
  13. The Yanks really fell apart. Haven't been playing well for a long time now. When Judge and Soto are the only ones in the lineup that are carrying the offense then that is a problem.
  14. Never mind the fact that he is 40 going on 41 coming off a serious Achillies injury. Never mind the fact that he started to decline his last year in GB and that was 2 years ago. Since then, he has only played 4 plays. After Wilson and Breece they don't have much on offense as far as weapons go. Do I think the Jets will be a tough matchup for the Bills. Yes, I do especially at MetLife as their defense has given Allen fits sometimes. But I doubt Rodgers can stay healthy and Taylor isn't carrying them on a playoff run assuming they make the playoffs. The Bills and Dolphins could easily finish ahead of them in the standings.
  15. Buffalo Sabres on X: "LUUUUUUK ⚔️ We have agreed to terms with goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on a five-year contract with an AAV of $4.75 million. → https://t.co/DBkLSgSFF6 https://t.co/iOskHtgepE" / X
  16. I don't think it matters if he resigns or not. He may have the title of President, but he isn't running the country. Obama, Pelosi or another Dem big wig is calling the shots.
  17. If I remember correctly, it was Dolan who stopped it. MSG didn't want the new stadium taking business away from them with concerts, WWE etc etc. With the current lease at MetLife both the Giants and Jets could opt out after 15 years (2023) and then every 5 years after that. The Giants want to stay in NJ but there have been rumors about the Jets wanting to go back to NY. Nothing official is going on with that, however.
  18. Interesting scheduling idea. It would be like what baseball used to have with the AL and NL playing only teams in their league before interleague play took over. I like the idea as divisional games and then conference games are more important to the division/playoff races.
  19. The Bills and Dolphins were both 11-6 with the Jets going 7-10. Taylor is a nice upgrade over Wilson, but he has his limitations. I don't think he would make up a 4-game difference in the AFCE.
  20. Not looking at the playoffs yet. I will say it will be fun to watch the two Packers-Lions games to see who wins the NFCN. Should be great games. As for the Jets I can't see Tyrod Taylor leading the Jets to a championship. The chances of Rodgers staying healthy are slim and none.
