My first memorable Bills game was the 1981 WC game at Shea. The Bills jumped out to a 24-0 lead, but the Jets fought back to make it 31-27 late in the 4th. The Jets were driving for the go-ahead score. There was about 10 seconds left in the game when Bill Simpson came up with a game saving interception at the goal line. Leaving Shea that day seeing all of the sad looks on the Jets fans faces was priceless.

As I have gotten older, I prefer watching on TV especially late in the year when weather becomes a factor. But it is still fun to go the stadium on game days and enjoy the atmosphere from tailgating and watching the game with Bills fans. I will say with hockey it is definitely better watching it live than on TV.

By the time they played in Buffalo the Jets defense was exhausted at that point. They were also destroyed by the Dolphins on the Black Friday game. They got no help from the offense all year so to see them collapse at the end of the season was not surprising. That last two games at MetLife were tough losses for the Bills. Two years ago, in Buffalo the Bills won 20-12 but it was a 7-0 game at halftime. Their defense does give the Bills fits. Saleh has said they have built their team to beat Buffalo since the Bills have been the top dog in the division for a while now.

At MetLife the past two years they did. Last year in Buffalo wasn't it 32-6 or something like that. It was the late in the year and their D was exhausted getting no help from the offense all year. This year when they play at MetLife the Jets will be returning from London. Hopefully they still have some Jet lag going into the Bills game. I doubt Rodgers can stay healthy being 40 coming off a serious Achillies injury. Taylor can be a serviceable back up if Rodgers gets hurt. They didn't have an NFL QB on the roster last year after Rodgers. That is why their season was over 4 plays into the opener.
