Are the Sabres profitable? This isn't the Bills we are talking here where NFL teams are a cash cow. Granato should be fired. After last season this has to be one of the more disappointing seasons for the Sabres given what the expectations were for this year. Terry should sell them if he is just going to run them like a clown show.

Terry bought the Bills for 1.4B and at last check with the new stadium coming they are worth 3.7B. He isn't selling. Owning an NFL team is a license to print money. It's like owning a cash cow. I wouldn't rule out a trade to either move up or back. Beane has shown he will do that. Allen and Edmunds are examples of that as far as moving up goes.

I think they meant the Eagles opener which will be played Friday Sept 6th in Brazil. The league is deciding if it will be the Packers or Browns as the opponent. The Chiefs play Thursday Sept 5th.

This thread will go full blown nuclear on McDermott if Ryans/Stroud or Harbaugh/Herbert get to a Super Bowl before the Bills. Sadly, I can see that happening.

Have the Bills had a top ranked defense? The stats say yes but those stats were built on playing bad teams with bad QB's. Whenever they faced a good offense with a good QB they got exposed. I personally wanted to move on from McDermott after 13 seconds even though I knew that wasn't that going to happen. But the no-show vs the Bengals in playoffs was the final straw for me. He is a good regular season coach that hasn't gotten it done in the playoffs. How much longer do we have to wait before Terry makes a change if he ever does. I wanted Bill here. We all know his record when he has a good team with an elite level franchise QB. But that isn't happening either.

I am guessing Beane takes an RB in the late rounds of the draft.

I have Jets seasons and when MetLife opened my PSL's were originally 10K per seat. Ticket sales weren't going well at all. Eventually I got an e-mail from the Jets saying they were reducing my PSL from 10K to 5K per seat. Once that was announced tickets sales picked up. I would imagine the Bills will have to do the same and eventually lower the price if sales are weak.

PSL's didn't work that well in the NYC area and that market has way more corporate support to draw from then the Buffalo area.

Once college football season ends then the NFL schedules games on Saturday's. I would guess the teams that play Saturday Dec 14th will play on Dec 25th instead of Sunday Dec 22th.
