  1. I don't see him going to a team that is in a full rebuild like the Giants as he is in his 70's. I don't think he wants to go through a rebuild anyway. His motivation is to catch Shula and prove he can win without Brady. A team that is ready to win now I think he would do well as long as his understands he is just the head coach. If he wants to be the GM than forget it. He was a terrible GM
  2. He wants to catch Shula for the all-time wins record as a HC. He was a terrible GM and that led to his last few years at NE being crap. He is a great HC and probably the GOAT. With an elite level QB, he went to 9 Super Bowls and won 6 of them. He also probably wants to prove to the NFL world that he can win a Super Bowl without Brady. He is a better HC and DC then Sean. It won't happen as I think will end up in Dallas if McCarthy gets fired but it would be wonderful to have Bill coaching the Bills with Allen as his QB.
  3. When MetLife opened my PSL's were originally 10k per seat. Sales were not doing well at all. I got an e-mail from them that they were being reduced to 5k per seat. Sales picked up at that price.
  4. The documentary will be titled "Just One Before I Die" Production starts this fall https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/bills-mafia-on-the-big-screen-buffalo-fans-to-be-the-focus-of-new-feature-length-documentary/ar-AA1pczbk?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=da1ac46dd9e74eb3a21e201f8d281ddc&ei=8
  5. For the playoffs they will need to play at home or in a dome/warm weather city. We all know noodle arm can't throw it well in the cold. When you look at the AFC you have the rest of the AFCE, the entire AFCN, as well as KC and DEN where cold weather with potential snow can be an issue.
  6. I wonder if the Bills are one of the teams. https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2024/8/20/24224479/nfl-trade-rumor-mill-browns-dtr-deshaun-watson-tyler-huntley-dorian-thompson-robinson-jameis-winston
  7. Bills fans are going to do what many Jets/Giants fans have done when MetLife was built. Drop their seasons and just buy individual tickets to the games they want to go to. Many fans will buy individual tickets to all the games as a way of avoiding the PSL fee but still go to every game. You won't get to sit in the same seats every game, but you will save thousands of dollars avoiding the PSL fee. The new stadium will buy the Bills a year at least. The place will be packed as fans will be curious to see what the new stadiums offers. Once the "shiny new toy" feeling wears off then the Bills better have a good team otherwise the place will have a lot of empty seats at the prices they will charge.
  8. With Poyer and Hyde it will be losing their experience back there that will hurt. But they were starting to lose a step as far as their play goes. Maybe the Bills could have gotten another year out of them but cutting ties with them when they did was probably a smart move. I would rather move on from a player while they still have some value versus keeping them when their skills have declined to the point where they are hurting the team. Tre is coming off 2 ACL's. The Bills are fine at corner and White hasn't been a key part of this defense for some time because of those injuries. Losing Milano hurts. No way to sugar coat that loss. With Von we have to wait and see. He is not in his prime anymore but hopefully he can stay healthy and give the Bills a productive season.

  10. I would say Mahomes, Allen and Burrow are the top 3. Filling spots 4 and 5 could be from Jackson, Herbert, Rodgers, Dak, Tua, Stroud to name some. For me it would be 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Burrow 4. Jackson 5. Rodgers if healthy. If not healthy then Herbert.
  11. If he can stay healthy then I could see maybe Rodgers in the #5 spot unless you think his play has declined to the point where he is in the 5 - 10 range.
  12. There is some unknown with a small rebuild/re-tooling of the roster. We are counting on young players to step and fill the void. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills take a step back this year as you mentioned the roster isn't as good but next year is a year for a lot of optimism. A lot of money coming off the books. Beane will have an opportunity to be aggressive in FA in getting elite level weapons for Allen. At least I hope he does. Regardless of how this season plays out I think the Bills will reload instead or rebuild for 2025 and go all in for a Super Bowl championship.

  14. I lived through most of the miserable times. The 70's, 84-85. Back then a good crowd in 80,000 seat Rich Stadium was 50,000. Many of those games especially late in the year when the weather was miserable the crowds were in the 20,000 - 30,000 range. At this point in his career Rodgers isn't better than Allen. But if he can stay healthy (BIG IF) then he can minimize the QB advantage the Bills have over the Jets. Even at 40 he is a massive upgrade over Wilson obviously. The Jets defense is better than the Bills. On offense the Bills don't have a home run threat like Hall or G. Wilson. The Jets will be tough this year. It won't be easy for the Bills to win the division.
  15. The injuries especially to Milano and now Samuel have fans depressed/worried.
  16. Welker and Edelman were also pretty good, and TE Gronk was really good. Brady had some good weapons to throw to.
  17. Randy Moss would qualify as a big-time receiver.
  18. Belichick would have been a huge upgrade over McDermott both as a HC and DC. I say if McCarthy gets fired as he coaching without a contract for next year then I could see Bill as the Cowboys next HC.
