Wasn't it a few years ago Beane said the Bills weren't going to be major players in FA and then they went out and signed Von Miller. I don't know what Beane is going to do at the draft. I do know he like every GM has their poker face on now so I wouldn't take what he says at face value.

As it pertains to the Bills it is pure fantasy land, but it is a very real possibility with Dallas. Jones was pissed after the Cowboys embarrassing playoff loss to GB 48-32. McCarthy is coaching the final year of his contract without an extension in place for 2025 and beyond. I just wonder if 2 guys who have huge egos like Jerry and Bill could get along. I could definitely see Bill Belichick as the Cowboys head coach in 2025 if things go south on their 2024 season.

I didn't know Houston had/has an IHL/AHL hockey team and they led the league in attendance. All the more reason for them to have an NHL team. Plus, hockey in Texas has grown as a sport. Dallas really loves their Stars. I knew the Devils came from KC but that was over 40 years ago. There first season in NJ was 1982.

McCarthy isn't all that safe in Dallas. He will start out as the Cowboys HC in 2024 but that doesn't mean he will last the entire season. As far as Bill to the Cowboys I could see that happening down the road. Jerry wants another championship and soon. As for the Bills it is pure fantasy land as McDermott isn't getting fired anytime soon.

McDermott isn't getting fired so there is no chance this happens. If McDermott did get fired, then I absolutely would want Bill as the Bills HC. Look at his record when he has had an elite level franchise QB. Plus, he is a much better DC than Sean. No way can he be the GM. That job is Beane's.

I don't know if the arena the Houston Rockets use can be used for hockey. I do know KC has an arena that can be used for hockey. Years ago, the Islanders played a preseason game there. That is another market that the NHL could look at.

I am surprised Houston hasn't gotten a look. Big market and they would have an instant rivalry with the Stars.

I would say one of the Jets games is getting on primetime. Allen and Rodgers. The league loves to showcase good QB matchups. Plus, there has been some bad blood between the teams. Dion Dawkins going off on the Jets. The fight in the tunnel after the game in Buffalo.

The Bills have opened on the road recently. I think they get a home game this time. The game against the Texans is a good bet for primetime IMHO.

I am guessing a 1:00 opener at home against NE. As for primetime games the Bills will probably get 4 or 5. HOU, KC, NYJ, MIA, SF, DET, BAL could all be put in primetime. If not, then the national game on Sunday at 4:25 for sure.

Belichick the GM was the problem. He shouldn't have control of the roster. The guy can flat out coach. Bill with Josh and Beane as the GM would bring a Lombardi to Buffalo IMHO. We will never know since McDermott will be here next year and most likely beyond.
