  1. I could see one of the Jaguars-Texans games being played in primetime with Lawrence and Stroud. The league loves to promote good QB matchups. I expect one of the Bills-Jets games to be in primetime for the same reason.
  2. I haven't heard anything either. Usually, a week before the schedule release you might hear rumors/speculation about who the Chiefs will play week 1 since they are the first game on Thursday night but nothing with the Chiefs opponent as well.
  3. I think the Panthers will beat whichever team comes out of this series.
  4. We are 6 days away 5/9/24 from the schedule release date. My guess for week 1 is Pats at Bills 1:00. KC will play Thursday night since they won the Super Bowl. I could see teams like the Texans, Chargers with Harbaugh, or Ravens as far as AFC teams go getting the SNF/MNF week 1 spot. Or they could go with some NFC teams like Dallas, SF, PHIL for primetime as well.
  5. I like that idea. Rotate the "home" game between the Pats, Jets, and Dolphins
  6. Rooting between the Leafs and B's is like rooting between Michael Myers and Jason. Both are evil and deserve to lose. Definitely want the Panthers to represent the EC in the SCF given all the teams still playing. The WC I don't care who makes it.
  7. If they do get B2B London games, then the team that plays them in the 2nd game over there should have a bye week the week before. Allows them to go over there earlier if they want to adjust to the time change. At least give the team the option to do that.
  8. Did they? I live in NJ so I wouldn't know. I didn't hear anything about that.
  9. No chance for the Super Bowl for the obvious reasons. I would love to see a draft in Buffalo if there is a place big enough to hold it.
  10. The new stadium isn't big enough to hold the draft. They said 700,000 people showed up to Detroit for it this year. Fans of every team show up as it is a big event now.
  11. Tough loss today 7-2 but over 162 every team goes thru ups and downs. The Yankees will be fine.
  12. https://nypost.com/2024/05/02/sports/terry-pegula-gives-daughter-laura-percentage-of-bills-ownership/
  13. I would also add that Kincaid shows nice improvement from his rookie year to year 2. I think the passing game is going to revolve around him especially without a true #1 WR.
  14. He is not in his prime anymore. His last year at GB he threw 26 TD's and 12 INT's. In his prime he was throwing more than 40 TD's and less than 10 INT's or something along those lines. The Jets won 7 games last year without having an NFL caliber QB on the roster and one of the worst offenses. If Rodgers plays decent which he probably will then that defense is going to win them a lot of games. The Jets are a threat to win the division this year. IMHO. The biggest thing with Rodgers is can he stay healthy. That is a BIG IF.
  15. The Jets have a solid roster and even at 41 Rodgers is still a huge upgrade over Z. Wilson. If he gets hurt and misses time, then Tyrod Taylor is capable of being a good game manager and helping them win games. Both games against them will be tough games especially at MetLife.
  16. Terry's favorite sport may be hockey but look at it from a business standpoint. The Bills are a cash cow. The Sabres not so much. NFL teams live in a financial world that NHL teams can only dream about. If anything, he would sell the Sabres and keep his cash cow.
